yet there are people on this forum, who claim they are conservatives, at the same time believe running a nearly $1 trillion trade imbalance is beneficial to the nation, the US economy and street level Americans.
This.
1. Blue collar man had 70k a year manufacturing job with retirement and benefits.
2. Company moves overseas. Man loses job. Man gets new job in a service industry making 45k with no retirement benefits or good insurance.
3. Man gets told outsourcing is a good thing because he can now buy that product 10% cheaper and it’s good for the consumer. Never mind outsourcing caused a 30% pay cut for him

Is that why he spent $9T? To "fix it?"
Yes. Remember when we had a strong economy, we’re a net exporter of energy, and our Navy wasn’t running into other boats and shite?

The problem is man was overpaid and his salary was economically inefficient, not what you wrote.
Pigs get fat and hogs get slaughtered. Lots of lower level manufacturing jobs were the latter

My reply is cutting you deep. It's meant to.
Thanks.
Thanks.

K. So generalization is a one-way street, and tacit agreement is perfectly fine when you're the one doing it.
Makes sense, California Tate.

When was that?

We are so wealthy that we can be 37T in public debt and still be the largest economic power with the world's reserve currency (and petro dollar), without much dispute of being the wealthiest economic power.
So let’s get to 50 trillion in debt and see how the dollar maintains as the world’s reserve currency and petro dollar. The only reason it has not been replaced is our military might. As we continue the devaluation of the dollar we slide down as being the “wealthiest economic power”. You are smarter than this but just like to be a contradicting voice on this board.

You cant and wont. You will make up every excuse to not answer
Its like if someone said Miamis the center of the Universe right now and then a retard uses an article from 2016 to tell you how its the worst right now
Doesnt get dumber than that

Nah you are a simpleton and I regard you as such. It gives me something to do all along. Arguing with an inferior can be fun at times. Continue on with your crusade of ridiculous and flat out ignorant posts. We all need a laugh as it is good mentally.

Im not the one claiming cost of daily used goods will increase cause of tariffs
My number is it will increase zero
So lets see the clownshow prove me wrong. And if you use CNN talking points we will all get to lulz together at leftards

It will not answer because it cannot. It will answer a question with a question. It is like Roger without that impressive economic degree from bus drivers university. Sad dude. Oh and all you have to do to bring him running is mention “bump stock”. It’s his cocaine.

Thomas Sowell is a communist in your eyes?
The guy that said this?
quote:
Trade deficits and surpluses are not caused by tariffs and other protectionist policies
Trade deficits and surpluses are not driven by consumer behavior
quote:
Three types of gains from trade
1. Absolute Advantage - We buy bananas grown in the Caribbean because of nature, geography, or skills
2. Comparative Advantage - Being able to produce anything more cheaply is not the same as being able to produce everything more cheaply
3. Economies of Scale - Australia shut down auto plants, can’t cover high costs, even though the number of OZ owned per capita is higher than US
He also pointed out that 2 years before Black Friday, the world economists desired to end all tariffs. Other Anericans saw it coming
quote:
"The world is paying for its ruthless destruction of life and property in the World War and for its failure to adjust purchasing power to productive capacity during the industrial revolution of the decade following the war."[
Thomas sided with the globalists on that one. Our economy collapsed, because we were the one country getting gored
Its happening again
