Just like anything else...Salt Life, Ron Jon Surf Shop, Nike, etc etc. Anything with a brand can have a following. In the age of social media, it just takes one thing to make any brand go viral.
And what's wrong with some decent food, cleanest bathrooms, tons of pumps for a gas station? The lines move quick at checkout too.

When I was returning from a flight into Dallas Love, I stopped at that Buc-ee's in Terrell. It was packed. I guess with "middling" people. I filled up with gas (peed), bought some pecans and a soft drink and left satisfied. What is your go to high quality on the road stop? There are no longer Stuckey's out there.
