As an Asian man I always find it odd that people would consider it racist to report or stop something so despicable.
I know how white women (or even non-white western women) are viewed in Asian cultures. I know that they're considered second-class citizens. a woman without "shame", morals and such isn't seen as a human being. There's a reason white women get so many unsolicited "send bobs" messages from South-Asian men (they're not just Indian). I am a brown South-Asian man who knows first-hand the mindsets many in my culture have developed. I know it is wrong. I know men who'll willingly do these things to young girls while doing everything they can to protect their own sister's "dignity" (fancy way to say cock-block), because white women enjoy more freedoms, therefore, they're to be exploited.
To me, the real racism is from the people who take an issue with putting the word "Asian" when it comes to reporting about these things. Our culture has problems! We'd like to change that. Don't fricking sugarcoat these things to appease whatever form of political correctness things you've developed. Think about it, if all you who bemoan the outdated notions of your families in the West were suddenly stopped from doing so, because someone thinks it's racist to disrespect or criticize a culture like that, how would you feel. It's frustrating to see the social evils of one's cultures not being openly discussed on account of some third-party (who is indirectly suffering from those social evils!) feels the need to be politically correct. Imagine if I went to a western country and started defending radical anti-LGBT Christian groups because they're "culture" and it's racist to criticize "culture".
Even on Reddit, these threads keep getting locked or removed, because "racism". Which is sad, because it hinders discussion and the cycle goes on and on, until another 1000 young girls are traumatized for life, physically harmed or killed.

Just because it's a problem within South-Asian culture, does not mean that it is also not a problem when the perpetrators are white. White, black, brown, purple, blue all should be dealt with accordingly, as per the law.
The main point was, how the South-Asian culture facilitates individuals harboring harmful notions about white girls and viewing them as sexual commodities. That does not mean each and every South-Asian is going to engage in such acts or silently support them. The only analogy I can think of is racism in U.S.A. in the early 20th century. Everyone wasn't racist, but the general culture was prone to producing racist individuals.
I have no interest in your stupid left vs right issues and didn't make this comment with the thought of supporting any of those sides. So the rabid racists and SJWs need to calm your tits and stop interpreting my comment as per your narrative.
