Rewatch that video. It’s clearly cut and edited. He shakes the man’s hand, then wipes his nose and then the hand shake from before the nose wipe is replayed. Pay attention to the couple behind the hand shake and you can see it’s a cut and looped video. It’s the entire reason for some stupid music instead of audio from the event because the audio would show how clearly doctored the video is. That’s pathetic and amateur and fooled thousands.

Stop falling for this dumb shite and shame on Trump’s krewe for retweeting doctored bullshite as well as anyone who couldn’t immediately see that. It’s not even that good of a cut it’s clear as day both when the video loops and by the body position of those in the background.

This is exactly the kind of thing we need to be hyper vigilant for. It’s far to easy to fool people in 2023. Pay better attention.

Memes should be set to a higher standard. They’re all that’s left of journalism now .
