Along with Dr Pierre Kory. Joe apparently did this at the last minute and flew them down for an emergency podcast. Clips won’t be uploaded to YouTube for obvious reasons: Spotify

Weinstein had Kory on his podcast just discussing ivermectin as possible covid treatment and Youtube issued a strike against his channel.

Brett Weinstein may be one of the most hated liberals in America today. I loved how he came out against Evergreen State College and what a cesspool it had become.

Thanks. Everybody knows YouTube sucks. YouTube is but a piece of a larger mosaic.

He’s probably going to be banned from YouTube any day now did refusing to drop the lab leak theory.

Joe has been on quite the roll, the recent one with David Sinclair about aging was really good.

Yes, even though as a scientist he is careful to specify that it is not a theory, but a hypothesis. (That's not intended as a gotcha toward you, I am just emphasizing how careful Weinstein has been and yet it's too much for Youtube).

Yes, but Weinstein is either culturally myopic, or, like most communist scum, just pissed off that he's not the one pulling the levers of social control.

I agree, in this one instance, that Weinstein is on our side. But he is still a self-identified progressive, who thinks his people are better than yours. He's a shitty long-term ally.

it blows my mind that they are going to do this again. Imagine being so politically militant that you would suppress potentially life-saving medical treatments just because you political foes are talking about them.

i disagree.

i want progressives that can say the current trend is too far for them. when you can have people that don't vote like you saying their side has gone too far, it's a good thing.

i liked the krystal ball and Saagar interview. I was screaming at their bullshite about UBI and people not working to "pursue their passions" but they still spent most the episode railing on the media and hyper-progressive politics.

there's a difference in hyper progressive beliefs and progressive language as there's a difference in hyper conservative beliefs and conservative language.

i'm pretty hard right on most issues. not all of course.
i have absolutely 0 in common with democrats. while my beliefs might be hyperconservative, i try to keep my language moderate. if i talk to somebody that believes differently than me and can have a conversation where i'm not just regurgitating sean hannity talking points, i'm a lot more likely to keep it civil and see the other's side and they, mine. zinging the libs is not a winning strategy.

i agree with Ball, Saagar, Weinstein, Rogan, Lindsey, Harris, Pool, etc on very few policy issues, but the common ground is that we should be able to see the other side has valid points, but most likely the wrong answers. they're acknowledging the left has a problem.

beating the drum of the other side is racist/pedos/socialist/nazis/chauvinistic/lazy/etc. won't get people any where.

If he doesn't see that this is the end result of progressive thought, of which he still claims to be an adherent, then he isn't paying attention to how progressivism has historically led. This is the central theme to when Peterson talks about how compelled speech inevitably leads to gulags. They've had a joint Rogan podcast where they discussed this.

If he's pissed he isn't at the levers of control, then my argument comes from his own statements. He described in one Rogan interview where he talked about being a part of a secretive committee that was attempting to change the discourse. It was several years ago, and a largely forgotten statement, but it was in one of his earlier Rogan podcasts. Maybe his second solo appearance? #1055, IIRC.

Again, I agree with Weinstein here, and am glad he's discussing it. But I do not trust him as a long-term ally. If you get into bed with progressives, do not be surprised if you get painted pink.

It’s focused on Ivermectin.

Lots of interesting information.

Study in Argentina where the control group got Covid at a 58% rate. The treatment group with prophylactic usage of Ivermectin got Covid at a 0% rate.

It’s probably more important for treatment at this point.
