The elitists in this country have failed the birthright Americans. It has done everything it can for migrants, both illegal and legal. But has abandoned the natives. It must be stopped.

how many were native born blacks or latinos bret?

i agree we need to deport all those native born black and latino people that are pulling down the averages for our 4th and 5th generation european descended native born americans. they're making the rest of us look bad.....amirite bret?

as a group white folks are looking ok we comprise 76% of the middle income quintile and a staggering 87% of the top two income quintiles and we just elected one of our own as president!

The responses in this thread (including up/down votes) confirms this nation is doomed. Bigly.

Is this the #NeverTrump "conservative" that The NY Times has been touting?

Most of these high achieving immigrants are not border jumpers. Most of them come from India or the far East.

Why do they outperform native born people? Simple. They are coming from the best and brightest their country has to offer. We aren't getting the unemployed Indians, we're getting Indians with PhD's and M.D.'s. Those Indians, in turn, have smart children who are also high achievers.

Secondly, our system is fixed to help them along and to suppress "native" born people (especially white males) in the STEM fields. All the educational grants are skewed in their favor. H1B is skewed in their favor. Affirmative action quotas are skewed in their favor. Etc.

I hate this argument from self-professed Christians. The Bible clearly states that if you are wrong, you should be pitied above all others.

I understand the logical argument that can be attempted to reach non believers, but it really cheapens the gospel. Furthermore, hoping to see someone get banished to hell doesn't exactly seem indicative of the type of love Christians are supposed to be known by

Not only a tasteless post, but for someone whose been calling out posters on grammatical errors, you should capitalize the first letter when you start a new sentence.

You are absolutely correct. Christans likewise should not refrain from telling non-believers the consequences of not believing in Christ (which in my opinion tends to ruffle more feathers than wishing you are there when the person is judged)

One of these is not like the others

And also he seems to be talking about citizens that have been here for a few generations; assuming that's the case there is literally nothing we can do as far as deporting them. They're citizens. The only legal mechanism for one to loose their citizenship is if they voluntarily renounce it.

While I take the wait and see approach. It is rather funny that after Thanksgiving all the non believers become Christians til the 25th of Dec...then convert back.

While that may be true, the work ethic of many immigrants is A LOT more intense than many birthright Americans.
