Or he thought the intruder was saying “police” as a ruse.

They were in plain clothes after all.

In his call he doesn’t seem the least bit concerned for his own safety from the intruders that just shot his girl. Not whispering or pausing to listen if someone is coming. And why are you not hearing cops yelling and securing the scene? She was shot in the hall way right, the front door was burst in so there should be cops looking in at least.

The whole thing is weird.

Link?
any person who is questioning that the officers did not follow procedure is saying that they broke down the door and shot people inadvisably. if they followed procedure, there is no issue to debate, at all. they knocked. broke in - legally. shooting started either before or after. police were justified. end of story.

them having the wrong address, behaving suspiciously after the fact, assault charges being dropped - those are separate issues.

What’s the difference between their claims and yours?
their claim is this case shows police brutality against black people because of their color. my statements itt are for everyone to wait until all the facts are gathered. people itt are jumping to conclusions without facts and denying alleged testimony that he shot through the door and that the officers announced their presence. i'm asking for evidence for the denial. that's all. then halfwits like scrub and hank start in with their usual stupidity

There’s no official story that involves Walker shooting through the door. Link it up.

I read an article which said that is what happened. But I’ve also read several that says it was after they kicked in the door. My problem is that he said specifically that he fired a warning shot. You don’t fire a warning shot a people who just kicked in your door and you don’t only fire one shot.

Talk about circular logic. The fed gov declares a "war" on drugs and sends money and gear to locals to prosecute...and so then our takeaway is that since everyone is doing it, it's the right thing to do? Weird.

Oh GFY. I've always only ever responded to the entirety of the situation. It's entirely possible (if not probably even) that it was a "good" shoot with a tragic outcome. But it seems likely that some ganky shite happened that trends toward a cover-up. That is at least as relevant to concerns of police misconduct as the shoot itself - if not moreso. It's bizarre that you keep telling everyone what their position is on the matter.

I have not read all the comments in this thread but would just like to add that when you associate yourself with drug dealers and said drug dealer states on tape that he had given you $8000 to “hold”. And there is a dead body found in a car you have rented, then sometimes bad shite happens. May not be right but it is not the cut and dry case the media is making it out to be. According to Don Lemon she was defending Democracy from Corona Virus working as a nurse and took a few hours to sleep and the police found out there was a black woman in an apartment so they broke the door down and shot her for no reason except racism.

She didn't intentionally get shot either. if I understand correct she was hit by crossfire. its absolutely ludicrous. She was at the wrong place at the wrong time. Period

I remember that time police had piles of evidence to raid my residence. Wait, my bad, I don’t buy drugs, sell drugs, or hang out with known drug users or dealers. It’s not that hard.

YouTube of 911 Call from Kenneth Walker, Taylor’s Boyfriend
That is incredible. Did they retreat and wait for back up while he made the 911 call? This just seems like a tragic mistake. He believed that her ex-boyfriend was breaking in and the police believed he was resisting. And tonight Louisville is burning.

I will not be surprised if they find out that they did not, in fact, have piles of evidence to raid Taylor’s residence.

There are too many truly ignorant people out there and some on TD. They can only think emotionally and do not care about facts one bit.

The fact that they CHOSE not to EXERCISE that authority does NOT change the nature of the warrant.

the officer stated it seemed like forever waiting for someone to come to the door

the witnesses that claim they heard nothing "they didn't announce"

well, it could be the same idiot who claimed "hands up don't shoot"

Wrong!

the police story checks out
