And Mike Brown had his hands up hollering "don't shoot". Drug addicts don't make very reliable witnesses.

Some said the cop stood over him and executed him.

Sad.

Probably? She isn’t probably dead.
Also the fact they had a no knock warrant should bother anyone who gives a tiny crap about the constitution.

I’m not buying that 12 witnesses initially said the cops didn’t announce themselves and then after meeting with one witness three separate times, that one witness changed his/her story to say the cops did announce themselves. If that doesn’t sound problematic I don’t know what does.
I don’t care about politics or them vs us...I’m just looking at this and it’s fishy.

CNN says no one knocked, 1 witness said they heard but they have 10,000 that said they didn't hear. CNN trying all they can to promote violence so they get more coverage.

again, its much more important and succinct that 1 person DID hear knocking vs 20 that didnt.

if my wife yells from the other room and i didnt hear her, there still a good chance she did yell from the other room.

vs.

if my wife yells from the other room and i DID hear her, there is very little chance she didn't yell.

Aren't whether he shot through the door or after it came down, and also whether or not it was a no-knock warrant both red herrings? The main issue being whether or not they announced.

Where did this information come from?

I don't think the police have to wait for Taylor to open the door. Just watching shows like cops and livepd you have one cop knock while the battering ram is swinging. Sometimes they knock and wait.

I didn't hear today how long it was before the knock to forced entry.

Apparently enough time for Taylor to wake up, the boyfriend to retrieve his gun, and both to make it to the hallway.

Smart move on his part, IMO.

This is the same thing terrorists do with women and kids.

Are people even using the AG's comments from today, or CNN's?

Because it sounds like many in this thread dont know the evidence presented.

They’re too emotionally invested in the narrative that was presented

That depends upon which we are addressing of the many potential questions arising from this mess.

If we are discussing ONLY the shooting, those two points are of less importance than is the case if we are discussing the advisability of ANY forcible entry in this case ... with or without knocking and with or without announcing.

The simple fact is that there was inadequate evidence to support ANY forcible entry into THIS residence. The other four addresses? Probably a different story.

I am confused by how she was fatally shot and he was not injured. Do we have a diagram of where everyone was?

Not according to the AG today. Had a 3rd party in close proximity testify that they knocked and announced.

Not accurate. At least one neighbor says he heard them announce.

After the passage of six months and God alone knows how many interviews and how much pressure, the cops managed to find ONE witness willing to change his story and confirm the cops' claims that they announced themselves.

Truly impressive.
