This past Sunday’s Old Testament reading in Catholic Churches was from Jeremiah and it seemed very appropriate for today’s wokish.

Liberalism doesn't create those dynamics but it does foster them by providing the platform where people who are naturally pessimistic can whine to each other. It's that incessant whining that leads to the need to find new things to whine about because they have already taken turns whining about everything on the planet and when they run out, they start making stuff up to whine about. It's not an option to stop whining as collectively they are right in the middle of the Worldwide Championship of Whining.

The two years of the CV op has completely broken the people (Woke, SJWs, Hard Libs) who were already damaged goods. Those who totally bought in are likely never going to be any where near "normal" again.
Frankly, no one has escaped various degrees of Demoralization -- which has been THE point of the whole cloth of CV-Vax-Lockdown and Upside-Down World virtues & ethics.

Every staunch leftist I know has deep-seeded self esteem issues. EVERY.SINGLE.ONE. Of course, they won't admit it. But it is easily recognizable. Thus, they search for self esteem in collectivism. That is why they virtue signal. They want to show everyone they are the most virtuous and morally superior person of all (even though deep down they don't really feel that way...at all). It is a public display to try to convince themselves they are something they really aren't.
Most conservatives I know are comfortable in their own skin. Often defiantly so and many times to their own detriment.
The take away is that being one extreme or the other is ridiculous and makes for an unhappy person.

The problem with Liberalism/Liberalist is that this group has an irrational flaw in their personalities that is easily manipulated. Their inability to have rational thoughts to critically analyze information makes them easily susceptible to brain washing.
My belief is that Zuckerbergs idea of FB was to be nothing more than a "friends sharing" website operation but that some sick people saw how it could be used for psychological operations on a willing population. From there the social media stupidity took off and everything in life was now open to easy psychological manipulation of flawed liberals.
Social media is the modern day military leaflet drop.

Wife has a lib friend that is legit going through therapy with her 10 year old daughter because COVID broke her. She is the triple mask / vax type that hid in her house for 2 years. She finds a way to be miserable, regardless of the situation. If you are looking for hate and racism in everything, you tend to be miserable

I will add that every staunch leftist is looking for something that they think will make them happy. They are unsettled in their lives and that leads them to the idea that normal is wrong, right is wrong, "everything told to me in the past is wrong because look, I am not happy".
They have the fallacy of thought that to make me happy something has to change instead of seeing that the reason they are not happy is because they changed and left normal.

Leftism is best understood as a psychology based in anger, entitlement and resentment. It is incoherent by nature. It represents chaos. This is reflective of the chaos inside the minds and hearts of its adherents. And that this shared cultural psychology causes the afflicted to project all this psychological discomfort onto well-adjusted people just minding their own business, while claiming they have the ability not only to change people's behavior, but also actually mending their very human nature via this ideology of Leftism. In this way, wherever Leftism has destroyed a culture, it is because it allows those who are similarly psychologically tortured, to join forces in the National Suicide of their own society.
