But, the UK confirmed them Ace.

I know, but credulity is strained to the point of breaking.

Let's take the U.S. experience in Vietnam - KIA was about 48k, WIA was about 305K, and MIA was about 2300. Throw in another 10K non-combat deaths in theater, and you have something around 375k casualties for the entire war, from the U.S. perspective and the vast majority of those were spread out from about mid 1965 to mid 1971 (tapering off sharply after that). The bell curve for those topped in 1968 with casualties that year being roughly 7 to 10 times that of 65 and 71. So, with that, do folks really believe that Russia is suffering casualties at a greater rate than the U.S. was during the very peak of the Vietnam War (1968)? Or are they reading propaganda reports?

I mean, I get it. This is a mechanized, conventional war between European nations armed with strike aircraft, tanks, artillery, etc. But 1000 KIA a day? The U.S. only had about 2500 KIA for D-Day, FFS...

Also, IDGAF about Taiwan or Ukraine.

I care nothing about Ukraine. Nothing.

But until we start manufacturing chips here in the US we need Taiwan. Its bad enough we depend on China for so many necessities.

Would much rather we work with Mexico to build plants and move manufacturing that is too labor costly for making in the US. But the US needs to start making stuff here or we are screwed in the long run.

I wonder if Gazprom has decided to repair NS 2 and Russia is providing security forces in the Baltic Sea while the repairs take place?

The Russian Navy has a permanent presence in the Baltic. It is literally headquartered on the Baltic Sea, its most historical naval base is on an island in the Baltic Sea, and it has nuclear-weapons-capable ships homeported in Kaliningrad. I don't even know why this is "news". Like I said earlier, this is akin to a BREAKING NEWS article about US vessels operating in Chesapeake Bay.

Yes we know you only trust CNN, WAPO or NYT. They’re always accurate with the news. Right? LOL.

Well, that settles it. We must bend down to Putin and our new Russian overlords, let them conquer whatever lands they want to conquer and do whatever they say. It's been a nice run but Russia wins.

Bruh the junk site in the OP reported that it’s BREAKING that Russia has nuclear armed ships in the Baltic, and then even went so far as to claim this hasn’t happened in 30 years. I’m sorry but even CNN isn’t that far junk.

You really don't know anything about this conflict or Putin's intentions. This conflict would have been over back in April of last year when Russia offered to negotiate a peace agreement with Ukraine. Ukraine jumped to accept but the U.S. and NATO slapped them down. NATO is going to fight this proxy war until the last Ukrainian drops and NATO runs out of bullets and missiles; which will be sooner than later.
Russia is going to sweep over Ukraine like a Tsunami. The longer the conflict ensues, the more territory of Ukraine will become Russia.
