It’s a fricking cooler. It says I like cold drinks and avoiding food poisoning. That people were spending a fortune for their cooler to say something, and are now debating destroying them because of what they say is.... well... nonsense.

The only thing sillier than the company might be the consumer

So why did Yeti spend big bucks to have the Robertsons plug their product?

You're a moron by saying it does exactly the same thing. The 35 dollar cooler isn't bear proof and can't withstand the wear and tear along with many other quality aspects. Keep up with the bullshite of them being the exact same and insulting people for purchasing them.

fricking tons of bears on offshore boats and in the Permian basin.

And I promise you one Yeti won’t out.ast 10 Coleman’s or Igloos.....if you want to buy one so you have one like all your hero’s have a ball....but a $35 igloo will do the same thing unless your fricking with bears.

And by the way they aren’t even fricking bear proof. If a grizzly wants in they will get in it.

Time for a competitor to step up and take their place.

I've noticed a number of look-alike knockoffs that look to me to be every bit as good as yeti for half the price.

Certainly for 99% of users, I don't see how any difference in performance would be noticeable - except for the name and the decal on the back of their truck.

This makes no sense to me - it wouldn't surprise me if over 2/3 of their customer base are supporters of the 2nd amendment and the NRA - certainly not a predominate of idiot anti-gun radicals. .

If everyone mails back shite to their HQ and their corporate office is loaded up with used coolers and tumblers they will get the message.

Wonder if they have any kind of "satisfaction guaranteed' guarantee?? If I had laid out the $$$ for a cooler, I wouldn't;t be 'satisfied.'

Maybe if everyone just mailed back their sticker from their truck they'd see the sentiment of their customer base.

Another bullshite statement. I used to go through 2-3 65 quart colemans or igloos a year. When it's in your boat and you stand on it and sit on it and whatnot an igloo or a coleman doesn't cut it. Been having the same yeti for 8 years now.

Igloo could take more than coleman, I'll give them that. A coleman "xtreme" was ruined the first time you stood on it. Never would seal properly again.

Like I said, keep up with the bullshite, igloo doesn't make a 200 quart icechest, much less a 600 quart. Coleman does at least make a 200 quart, but that's just big enough for my bait icechest offshore. So gotta have an Icytek or a Yeti.

Then you may actually have a need to own one. People hauling one in a SUV to a picnic WANT one....they don’t need it.

I’ve had great results on boats with igloos and Coleman’s. I had a 100 quart igloo on a 27 foot center console for years that made many multi day trips to the Bahamas and that thing was bullet proof.....of course I ran into damned few bears, especially grizzly bears.

If you are casting or poling from a cooler it is, at that point, a casting / poling platform....it is more than a cooler. If a cooler is all you need a yeti is simply too much......

You mean a $50 cooler wasn’t made to be stood on by an adult male??? Terrible.
