... The Hodgkins type.
Terrible news, but he says it's treatable. He one of the true good guys. Send your prayers folks.

Conservative radio host Dan Bongino announced he has been diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma.
“Just a little bit of bad news on a personal note,” Bongino told his radio audience Friday. “We did get a diagnosis yesterday from my doctor. ... Unfortunately, it is cancer. It’s lymphoma, the Hodgkin's type. But it is treatable.”
“I do have cancer, and that is hard for me to say,” Bongino added. “But we’ll be OK, and I am optimistic. That’s not some act I’m putting on for the show.”
Bongino said he has a strong support system from his family, friends, and the “best audience in the business.”
The former Secret Service agent and New York Police Department officer told his audience late last month that he had been diagnosed with a “very scary” tumor in his neck.
Bongino, 45, quickly received a strong outpouring of support and well wishes on Twitter from colleagues and friends in the media.
Earlier this month, the tumor was successfully removed, and Bongino shared with his audience that he feared he had lymphoma.
“Thank you all for your kind words & well wishes,” Bongino tweeted. “I’m out of surgery & I feel good. They removed the entire tumor from my neck. The bad news is, it looks like lymphoma. The good news is, there are treatments options. Either way, it’ll be okay. Thank you all for your support.”

While there is absolutely no good cancer to have, Hodgkins is much more treatable, with better outcomes, than non-Hodgkins lymphoma. I lost my grandmother to the latter 14 years ago. Wishing Dan Bongino nothing but the best.

I love Dan, Joe, Paula, Drew, and the girls. They will get through this together. Dan is a fighter and he will beat this.
Been praying for all of them.

About a 90% five-year survival rate for Hodgkins lymphoma. Praying a long, healthy life for Bongino.

I was just a little younger than he is, when I first got sick with Stage IV Hodkgin's. First felt like arse in August 2016. Diagnosed Dec 30. No evidence of disease by March 2017. Last treatment June 2017. Ran two half marathons in consecutive days later that month. He's got this!

Best wishes for a good guy and patriot.

God bless him. He has been an absolute warrior for our cause the last 4 years.

Isn't Hodgkins "better" than non Hodgkins? That should mean it's susceptible to treatment.
Non-hodgkins means it's not in the family of cancers that there are known treatments.
At least that is my understanding from when a family member had NHL.

If he does the DS will just give it to him again.

Treatment for Hodgkin lymphoma is highly effective. Most people beat it.
Dan’s a good egg; hope he gets to feelin’ better soon.

Eric Berry had this right? Obviously beat it completely.
Bongino is a great guy. We can only wish him well.

Well thank GOD for that = I have a non-Hodgkins = mantle cell lymphoma and have been taking chemo, fortunately now in oral form, for the past 7 years - except for the deleterious effects from he chem, I am doing quite well. So if they have treatments that are more effective than this, he should be ok with his life - may suffer from profound physical weakness and various immune deficiencies. Good news is I am almost down to my high school weight.
God bless Bongino - we need more minds like him.

Yep. He was treated at the same hospital as I was. He didn't get a chemo port, so he could keep training. He never stopped.

How many people do you think are tougher than Dan? If anybody can fight his way to health, it’s Dan Bongino . He is a warrior- physically and mentally. He’ll be fine.

He always seems nasty and mad at the world.

Eh, maybe if you only see/hear him in 5-minute clips he can seem angry. Based on longer exposure I’d say he doesn’t come across as an angry person in general, and definitely not “nasty” (unless you’re philosophically opposed to his position, I guess).
Frankly, in just the handful of podcasts I’ve heard he sounds more like your typical family man — loving, proud, fiercely protective, even a little goofy at times. But if just a small percentage of what he claims is accurate, whatever anger spills over is wholly justified. I wish nothing but the best for him and his family and hope they have all the support they need to help him win this fight.

I think he's just exasperated that low-information dullards like you don't realize who is corrupt, the extent of that corruption, and how it jeopardizes our culture and system of government. Incurious people like you who pull the lever for Democrats on demand are the people who lose countries.
