Especially in PA. Most of that state is not MAGA or even 2A friendly.

Not all backpacks. A 16” barrel upper is right at 24” depending on flash hider. A lot of packs aren’t big enough to hide a 24” anything in. And I guess I should have mentioned that in my earlier post, you do have to take them apart to fit into a pack. I just assumed everyone would automatically understand that. Your post made realize many may not.
Of course, not all backpacks but it will easily fit into a normal looking one. I do it all of the time. People seriously underestimate how easy it is to carry a weapon concealed. Hell, one time I forgot my normal backpack and only had a small kids one, I had the barrel sticking out of the top and placed a stuffed frog that was my daughter's DVD case over the barrel. Walked around a Hilton and no one ever gave a second look. A cardboard box works wonders too.

The picture that posted makes it look like a 20" barrel yours looks like a 16".

Any other shooting and all of his belongings would be shown in a press conference.
For whatever reason, they haven’t shown his backpack, drone, spent brass or eyeglasses. And every pic of the rifle (which was 8’ away from him) looks like it was taken with the camera of a Bigfoot witness.
Why are they hiding this?

Not the first time I’ve heard my pictures look 4” shorter

People that misuse "seen" for "saw" make my ears bleed.

Why do you think?
The obvious choice is usually correct.

There are some downloads in the link marked sensitive. I haven't looked at yet.

A review of the footage by Grassley’s office particularly raises questions regarding:
The fragmented and delayed chain of communication between local and federal law enforcement; and
A seemingly delayed response in identifying and disabling a potential detonator device, including a potential device located next to the deceased shooter.
The video footage additionally records law enforcement discussing the need to use a drone to inspect and secure the water tower on site. Records obtained by Grassley corroborate that USSS had assigned an Unmanned Aerial System drone operator to the event. Despite this, FBI Director Christopher Wray yesterday testified to the House Judiciary Committee that the shooter successfully flew his own drone around the venue two hours before opening fire.

Just an idea. I have a couple of pelican style cases I use for bolt guns and shotguns. I used to get a lot of looks and some questions when I would carry guns into a hotel. Then a guy asked me what kind of guitar I had when I was checking in once. I realized he thought the gun case was a guitar case. It gave me an idea. I slapped some music stickers on one of my cases, Fender, Martin, Marshall, etc., and I use it when I travel. So far everyone has seemed to think it is a guitar case. And no one has freaked out like some did when it was a gun case. Just an idea.

I just put a sticker on my rifle that says “I am Guitar”. Inarguable with today’s gender fluidity.

ARs breakdown easily to the receiver and barrel sections by releasing two pins. If the weapon is well maintained it takes 15-20 seconds. Literally making the two haves more concealable depending on barrel length.

I'm part of the band playing on that sloped roof. Excuse me while I shimmy my way up this drain pipe
