I’m very comfortable in saying that Democrats will absolutely take the House. I’d bet more or less anything on it.

The Senate for us is, again more or less, a lost cause. There’s a crazy scenario in both directions in which the Democrats take the Senate but lose the House, or put another way, Republicans keep the House but lose the Senate, but those are hardly worth examining.

The board, of course, seems to think that Republicans will keep both.

I’m certain they’ll lose one. What do we want to bet? Ban until the new Congress is sworn in? Use my avatar or any Trump avatar you like if I’m wrong?

I’m down for whatever.

A split Congress is not a blue wave.

Tell that to the Tea Party. They won the House is 2010 but couldn’t win the Senate.

That was absolutely seen as a red wave.

Aren't those two the exact thing?

Don’t you have to have something to lose it? Dems don’t have either and won’t after Nov. 6th.

Dems were never supposed to take both house and Senate until 2020. Republicans have all of the strongholds in this election. Blue wave is 2020 for sure. No doubt

tea party won 63 seats, the dems may win the house but it will not be my much at all. then they have to pick a leader, if they win, good times...Trump is going against history, if keeps both the house and senate the dems are in big time trouble...

Average midterm performance is a loss of 4 Senate seats and 30 House seats.
A "Blue Wave" would be something beyond that.

There is no "Blue Wave".

Normal attrition might flip the House.
But by most accounts, Dems are underperforming historical norms this cycle.

All democracies die at some point. Once the people discover they can vote themselves free money and or unearned advantage then the death march begins. Clearly the dems have done a magnificent job of cutting to the chase and throwing the health and independence and long term viability of the Republic under the bus. In exchange of course for their power and enrichment. So nothing new there.

And all R's I know are frankly amazed and in awe that Trump came along to slow down and reverse the momentum to communism/socialism and ultimate enslavement of our society to the poverty and human degradation it leads too. However the dems continue to peck away at freedom of choice and the power of our nation world wide as a beacon of liberty. And they will ultimately win to the detriment of humanity everywhere. Congrats to you and idiots everywhere.

Thanks for the congrats, but I’m as interested in socialism as I am a second Trump term.

Huh? You aren't interested in socialism but yet you want Trump to not have a second term? Makes no sense???

Dude, there ain't an unbiased political pundit out there claiming there is a blue wave coming. I respect their opinions a helluva lot more than yours or mine.

Let's see . . . Claiming a "Blue Wave" was coming. The Senate was going to flip. Texas was turning blue. That would have been a blue wave indeed. However, in contrasting reality, Dems appear set to not only underperform those lofty "Blue Wave" expectations, but to massively underperform normal midterm results.

. . . . and you're calling citation of those facts a "hedge"?
You are a real clown show my man.
