Without the requisite security guarantees for Ukraine, this goes nowhere
The last security guarantee the US got involved in (NATO) has cost us trillions, thats a no.
By the way, ukraine can wait 6-8 weeks when US weapons are due to run out, and be welcome to negotiate then....if they are still around.

They are paraphrasing, meaning they will withdraw any request or pursue it.

I wonder if Ukraine would've just kept their territory had they come to the table early and cut ties with all NATO talk.
But for that British buffoon (and other western meddling), things might have worked out a lot better for the Ukraine.

It’s an exciting time to live in Eastern Ukraine. The prospect of being part of Mother Russia must be exhilarating
Over a million have fled TO Russia ya knucklehead. The only country with as many refugees is Germany, most European countries have less.
So given the choice of any country in Europe (they were all welcoming them) they chose Russia.
Any other ignorant posts?

Yeah, I would not either if I were them. The Russians want a Ukrainian fire sale of concessions and it seems the US is acting the agent on that sale where Russia gets territory and economic guarantees/ concessions plus some choice mineral deposits. The US gets a 50% ORRI which might as well be a half ownership interest as well . Ukraine gets nothing but a tenuous existence as someone's vassal state.
Or they can wait a few more months when they run out of all US weapons and cease to exist.
What do you clowns not understand, ukraine has NOTHING to bargain with, their sugar daddy has cut them off and Europe has no stomach to support them, just a bunch of hollow promises.

Kiwi,
What do you not understand?
Russia doesnt need nukes. The US has cut off ukraine, they have two months supply of weapons left. And not even that is helping them because they have very few trained soldiers left.
Have you noticed no himars are traveling into Russia for publicity stunts anymore, probably because we are not targeting for them anymore and have put the CIA on a short leash over there.
Its over, its been over.
Dont cry like a child for something you could not defend like a man.

Pretty smart to flee if you have the means no matter what side you favor. When you can hear bombs going off, rolling black outs, no heat in the winter, no air in the summer, shortage in medical care, and shortages of food it’s definitely time to find a safer place to stay.
In the Donbas region since 2014 around 2 million have fled. Donbas has the largest ethnic Russian population with a population of around 2.5 million.

Ukraine isn't a member of NATO. So how can they withdraw from it?
From consideration.

I doubt if Ukraine puts much credibility on Russia and the U.S. guaranteeing their security.
I would hope that they put the same amount of credibility as I put on Ukraine guaranteeing my security.

Which what has happened to the losing side in ALL of human history absent a complete takeover by the victors.
From the first bullet till the last man leaves the field… Ukraine never, ever, ever stood a chance. It was just a matter of when from day one.

At what point do you as Trump say to Vlad. " frick you, without something truly tangible to offer you ain't gonna get.....shite" Or do you just go full surrender monkey because.....muh nukes?
Wait a sec…I thought the EU was taking over and carrying on the cost and administration of the conflict?
What happened? They get the first bill and storm out like a crackhead in a steakhouse?

It’s going to be longer than a few months even if we cut them off completely. US gives them around 40% of their weapons. When the war started Ukraine was making around 10% of their weapons and relying on the weapons we’ve been giving them for over a decade. Now they are making 30% of their own weapons. They are getting the other 30% from European countries.
I think one of the reasons he hasn’t cut them off completely is Lockheed Martin, RTX, Northrop Grumman, Boeing, and General Dynamics are making to much money. These companies have a lot of influence and political capital in DC. Combined they have over 700,000 employees and are worth twice as much as Elon Musk. It’s one of the reasons we were in Afghanistan for over 20 years.
