Imagine this scenario, circa 2009:
A predominantly black highschool has a field trip to Washington DC. During the trip, a couple of young black girls purchase Barack Obama t-shirts and hats and wear them around town during the field trip.
Around lunch time, the bus they're riding on stops at a predominantly white university to have lunch in the cafeteria. The young black girls wear their Obama apparel into the cafeteria and are immediately verbally assaulted. Then a white football player grabs the Obama hat off the head of one of the girls and walks away with it. They are then threatened and forced to leave the cafeteria by white students and cafeteria staff because of their apparel.
Then the white students go online on Twitter and other social media sites and claim that "They should have beaten their black asses" and "black people gettin bold". Meanwhile, the cafeteria staff and the university tweet out support for the white students who harassed and threatened the black girls.
When this is exposed to the public, all conservatives defend the white students and the university staff for these actions because "the black girls were provoking them and they should have known better than to wear Obama apparel to a white school".
I'm sure mmcgrath, tigerfoot, and other liberals would defend these white students also like they are defending these black students and faculty.
This would be a national scandal and the school would be shut down.
