It's amazing to me how people on this board seem to be ok with giving over $3 billion annually to Israel, one of the wealthiest countries per capita on Earth. Do you honestly think the Syria war hawks want to topple Assad because he's gassing his people, or is it much more likely those taking huge sums from AIPAC want us at war with the Assad regime in hopes it will diminish Hezbollah's presence and thus benefit the Israelis? The Israelis have to be laughing at how easily duped Americans are and how easily corrupted our politicians are. I want someone to represent me in Washington who cares more about people in this country than those in Tel Aviv. Good luck finding that today.
