I don't want to believe it's anything other than a tragic freak accident.
Let's hope that's all there was to it.

100 feet in altitude and 2600 feet off course isn’t much in aviation and there is no fricking way a pilot could time that collision with a consistent speed and directional control.
100 feet in altitude and 2600 feet off course isn’t a huge deal if you’re flying a commercial plane in open airspace 35,000 feet high.
In a helicopter flying low in an urban environment errors like that can be catastrophic.
I’m not getting into the whole “who’s the pilot” deal, but it’s obvious that someone majorly screwed up.
And as for the Blackhawk pilot “not being able to time that collision? I can’t say it was purposeful, but video from different angles all show it flying directly into the plane.

If the gps maps were accurate they just needed to hug the coast line more.

As I read this thread, I was going to post the same comment. If the helo was across the river, it jet would be at a higher altitude. Add the fact that the helo was above its restricted altitude, it compounds the problem.

ATC exists to monitor traffic and vector it safely around other traffic, weather, obstacles, and safely to the ground. Part of the reason is because it is so difficult to see other aircraft. It’s very difficult particularly at night.

Agreed, it's been non stop "I know but I won't tell" for the past 2 days.
I find it hard to believe that if that many people knew that the name would not have leaked.

I don't believe (currently) that this was anything other than an accident. But f of with "everything isn't a conspiracy crap".
You are right everything isn't a conspiracy. Sometimes things turn out to be conspiracy. When most things eventually are shown to be a conspiracy it is normal to look into other things that could be a conspiracy.
Either way someone doing this isn't a conspiracy when they did it all by their lonesome! Ya gotta have two for a conspiracy.

The 200 ft to 400 ft at impact is verified by the radar, but I have yet to see anything indicating it was 1/2 mile off course.
In fact the radar shows it flying pretty much directly above the Potomac the entire route.
Or is the Potomac so big that it could be 1/2 mile off course while still being above the East Bank? Is the Potomac 3 miles wide or something?

What you, or anyone else “wants” to believe isn’t important. What’s important is the truth. I want the truth. Facts.

6/10ths of a mile at that point.

What evidence you have this was DEI related?

The President of the United States said so, as well as the Secretary of Defense.
4 months ago many people would have taken those two statements as evidence.

The pilot was a man, right? He was the son of someone my mom knew growing up in Mississippi.
