Most of the arguments I've seen for reparations don't call for payments to individuals. They call for investment into black communities, which looks like infrastructure, after school programs, etc.
In decades of this being discussed I have never seen this "most of arguments" to which you refer, expressed before even once.
Besides, "programs" have already been paid - in the trillions - and reparation already made accordingly
I believe that the problems of blacks are generally societal/cultural that is a self-erected barrier, as is shown across nationalities and continents. If you do not even advance to co-opting the wheel, you are not going to be leaders of any kind of society worth leading. Throwing more money at this massive problem is not even close to appropriate solution.
I say this knowing full well that some members of this racial demographic, are contributors to civilized societies, most, however remain behind their self-erected barrier, capable of little of worth.

Ok. You win. I agree to pay every slave and their immediate family’s reparations.
Where has the line started? I’m opening my wallet.

We are in a moment of anti-Blackness on steroids
Nah it's just a normal reaction to the constant push of blackness into everyone's view and being told all the terrible things blacks do is actually good or if it's bad it's everybody else's fault. People are sick of the constant gaslighting regarding the nature of American black culture.

Why don't you list the average incomes for white people in those places? Those numbers are meaningless on their own.
Why not list the number of individuals (with slavery in their ancestry) who are unemployed, unmarried with multiple children, live in government housing, and receive government aid and pay no damn taxes? Basically, individuals who contribute nothing to this country other than bleed government funds to live off hard-working taxpayers.

I think anyone alive today here in the US who have been slaves should recieve reparations paid by anyone alive today that ever owned slaves

Everybody's ancestors were enslaved for centuries somewhere in the world. Slavery is not unique to black people or any other minority. The difference is that no other group uses it as a constant justification to excuse personal failure and demand special treatment the way black people in the US do.
We are going to have people who never owned slaves pay money to people who never were slaves for something that ended 150 years ago, that was paid with the lives of 600,000 soldiers, who were majority white. There is no logic to that.
Maybe virtue signaling is worth paying reparations to you, but I don't need the adoration of Facebook friends that badly. The dumbest part of it is that people like yourself insist slavery reparations are needed while also supporting the modern-day slave trade driven through illegal immigration.

FTR, Glen is a democrat. So there are still dems with common sense.

Another example of Blacks Not Listening Fatigue. Why is it so hard to just listen?

We have already been paying reparations since Lyndon Johnson.

I don’t know. It’s not how I was raised or taught to interact with police.

Why don’t we just put the average IQ of whites compared to blacks as well. That way we will see the real reason for the disparity in today’s society.

Is this the broad that Riley Gaines called misogynist, and she damn near cried?

How many living blacks were enslaved? Zero
How many living people were slave owners? Zero
Reparations? Zero

I made a very mild joke about reparations on instagram and had several black people threaten to kill my children. Needless to say, I'll stop paying taxes and move before I give one thin cent to those people.

4cubbies has got to be a troll.

Ah yes, the old give me something for something I never experienced routine, again.
Why can’t some people make their own way instead of trying to get something that they haven’t and will never earn. It truly must suck to be that weak, right c on z?

I'll support them getting a one-time payment of $75,000 each, but they had to revoke their United States citizenship and move to Africa. With that kind of money there, they can be kangz n' shite.
I think this would be great, they can move to Africa and show us how it's done and with that kind of money they could buy farms and build generational wealth... or blow it, their choice

That wont change shite
Their behavior and culture will
Still be shite and a nuisance to everyone they’re around

Agree. Things are so bad here and they think they deserve money, a requirement to take should be deportation and denounce citizenship and can never return.
