Your friends, family or associates? No one in any of my circles identify as trans so they are strangers to me.
I live in a small town in Texas. There is one "Trans Woman" that works in one of the convenience stores. He is friendly enough and I have never had an issue with him. If he tried to use a woman's restroom in my presence, there would be an issue, and I would not be alone.

Relevance?
Common sense. I can appreciate that would fly over your head with the use of logic and facts. Keep eating those Twinkies, they are an essential part of a healthy breakfast.

This doesn’t bother me. We need to know exactly who is coming into our country

For foreign nationals, the photos can remain in a database for up to 75 years. For U.S. citizens, the photos are matched to their passports and deleted within 12 hours, according to the Department of Homeland Security.
Great. This sounds like an awesome program that we should definitely continue.

As always, thanks for the thoughtful response.

I can't imagine a context where this is analogous. I don't expect the government to use technology to intentionally harm or kill Americans. Closer to your example, I don't expect the government from foregoing the use of fingerprint or DNA testing left at the seen of a crime basec on concerns of freedom or privacy

and it's only being done at ports of exit
I doubt this strongly.

There are plenty of privacy concerns, but I don't see how this system creates sny additional encroachment
Valid point.

Poison also exists. Do you expect the government to use it against American citizens? Do people who value freedom and privacy all “live under a rock?”
Cubs... the photos of citizens are matched and deleted within 12hrs.
The video of you taken entering the airport is surely retained much longer- you know that, right?

You do realize they can see genitalia on the scanners, right? What you're talking about really isn't a big deal
It is all a big deal, we've just been pretty well conditioned not to view it as so.
For safety......

Im not for it, but of all the sins, 12 hours is minor.
Considering I go through a full body scan or a pat down, take my shoes off, have my luggage scanned, be wiped for chemicals...
Already.

Plenty people here are extremely vocal about their disapproval of strangers using the wrong bathrooms but this is an issue where you encourage everyone to throw their hands up and shrug because technology exists?
you think a man with mental problems trying to hang his wang out in front of pre-teen girls in the bathroom at the mall is the same as facial ID for people leaving and entering the country?
Serious question, do you know how a passport works? Have you ever flown international?
Of all of your retarded takes, this one is extra retarded. Not as retarded as claiming there were tanks rolling down Bourbon St and you were too scared to go outside, but close.

Using it in exploitive ways?
Like doxxing CBP agents?

Posted on 9/28/25 at 6:08 pm to Jbird
can you imagine what tank tracks would do to the cobble stones that have been in place for over 200 years on Bourbon?

Posted on 9/28/25 at 6:09 pm to Rebel

Was terrified!

“YoUr SiDE” about everything is nonsense to me. Making every single topic personal is nonsense to me. Oh wait, you just did that! Yeah, that’s some immature, emotional nonsense.

You are mad because people see what you are?

Help me out here. Why do you care if they take a picture of you in an airport? Especially if it helps with security?
