When people want to know how democrats will win again.
This is how. They will downplay woke, Dei and other such policies while pushing their own "America first" type narratives.
And it'll work because neocons abandoned many of the things that got republicans elected.
It's not you diehard "I vote republican no matter what" types that win elections, it's the swing voters in the middle.
Downvote away and keep calling conservatives liberals and panicans because they don't want to support your neocon idiocy.

It’s not just neocons that abandoned coherent positions; it is also MAGA. While Trump has done admirably on immigration, anti-DEI, shutting down USAID and their left-wing NGOs, he has embraced an incipient right-wing nationalist socialism that is particularly discouraging because it leaves classical liberals no place to call home. And he is the most corrupt president in US history.
A lot of people would blame him for engaging in the forever wars against which he campaigned. I don’t. The realities in that are somewhat opaque to ordinary citizens like us, but I surmise that Trump did the right thing in attacking Iran. I also think, behind all of the rhetoric, it is a bi-partisan policy. and all our “leaders” understood that Obama’s outreach had failed and something had to be done.
Trump stumbled in the middle, with the endless negotiations, and offered a peace deal that was tantamount to surrender, if indeed Trump intended to honor it (I doubt it), but he landed in a good spot and is closing the deal well from the looks of it.
All in all it’s been a productive two years with the good far outweighing the bad. Hopefully the midterms are kind and the next two years can be more house cleaning.

I had to turn it off when he started with "gay rights"! Frig' that liberal commie!! If the US policy makers are so comfortable with their laws providing "rights" then why do they work so hard, 24/7 365, to deny an inalienable right for citizens to protect themselves?

That's where you lost some because they can't tolerate anyone who dares step off their ideological plantation, often while simultaneously calling out Democrats for doing that to blacks. Shining a light toward their hypocrisy is always going to win you down votes.

There is nothing incorrect in that statement. I think what many fail to understand is that the definition of "swing voters in the middle" has changed to be more leftward as classic liberals have moved heavily into that category.
They may be for LGB, they draw the line at supporting gender dysphoria (especially when it comes to endangering women and young girls) and everything beyond those three letters. They want a definite line between Church and State, not a sinkhole under Church.
Those are things we can work with them on while trying to bring them up to speed on things like immigration reform being really "just enforce the existing fricking laws" and addressing crime problems by starting with the home (and not through government largess programs).
While we're busy not working with them on those things where we have common ground solely because they don't 100% believe in everything we believe in, the progressives are able to fill that vacant space by working with groups diametrically opposed to any/all of that. This is how we get Muslim honor killings. This is how we get boys playing girls' sports. This is how we get millions of illegals coming in and being funded to stay.
We should be working with them on the things we have agreement and then holding the line on things we don't. Instead we push them away because of our own short-sided blind idealism.

I personally have 0 use or care for blood thirsty Christians who are every bit as bad as the people they claim to hate.
You aren't of God or even close to it.
