Do we even have any "evangelicals" on this board?

What % of the pop are made up of these "evangelicals"?

I'm guessing pretty small.

I'm not sure, but they're pretty significant in LA. Hell, we elected a Dem as governor over infidelity from Vitter.

If you notice, I'm not calling Republicans hypocrites, but evangelicals have egg on their face.

huh?

That isn't hypocrisy.

Hypocrisy would be them saying it is OK for him to, but not you.

Nobody is doing that.

Pretty much every Evangelical has acknowledged it was a pretty shitty thing to do, they just aren't willing to give up on him as a president. You want them to make big condemning statements of him, or "dammit, it's hypocrisy"

Yup. He's a flawed guy. I'm satisfied that he hasn't been involved in such acts WHILE PRESIDENT. He is representing the country well. Liberals are bringing up old stuff in order to make our country look worse. Pretending any of this stuff from his past affects his ability to lead the country in any way is the actual hypocrisy here.

You can preach about morals, vote for DJT and NOT be a hypocrite.

Sorry you can figure that out.

The principle that is the focus is that of Grace. Not if the people believe he did wrong or not. If he did wrong and has come to forgiveness for his wrongs he is given Grace as are all of those who believe on Jesus. Judo Christian foundational belief.

It does not mean that a believer is to wallow in sin but move onward and not go back purposefully.

So is Donald Trump continuing this behavior or going onward?

Grace to you

In 2018 who is beating you over the head with family values? Evangelicals are more or less a bogeyman. As “immoral” as Trump is...there was no better choice for representing Christian values.

Is it really such a stretch that Trump isn't the best husband?

Idiots in Alabama stayed home to allow the election of Doug Jones over flimsy allegations about Roy Moore from decades ago that just so happen to conveniently pop up when Dems are trying to gain seats in the federal government. It's so absolutely ridiculous.

Oh no he clearly sucks as a husband. No doubt. I voted for him because he vowed to defend my rights as a Christian, and he's done quite well with that so far.

Whataboutism is distracting using unrelated subjects to prevent from answering direct questions.

I directly answered your post, and THEN brought up a related point.

Do you know the terms you are using?

And my issue is with your hypocrisy in condemning only one side of the hypocrisy.

Better to vote for baby killers and people who intimidate their husband's accusers.

All this “hypocrisy” stuff is getting a little silly.

IF someone had said that DJT was the most perfect person, and candidate ever, then maybe, you would have the right to call them hypocrites for supporting him. DJT is far from perfect. But he is a hell of a lot better than the other choice this election.

OR

The right can drop bill and his cigars form the conversation along with the left dropping Donald and his pre-presidency relations.

Some of you girls just argue to argue.

Evangelicals feel their faith is being attacked and for some reason thought DJT would somewhat protect their beliefs.
I never understood the rational. Trump has never been or will never be an Evangelical or anything close to that.

Couldn't the same be said about HRC or any other candidate for that matter then?

Explain the implication that only "evangelicals" should not think cheating one's wife is great and only THEY can be "hypocrites" on this issue.

Given the choice between Trump and Hitlery, I'm sure evangelicals still feel comfortable with their choice. In fact, if Satan would have run against Hitlery, evangelicals would have voted for Satan....OVERWHELMINGLY!!
