He also apologized to a murderer and arrested the father of a soldier he killed.

Why would you think they wouldn’t love to create a whole new department of the IRS to do exactly that?

Whatever it takes to close the budget deficit is sounder fiscal policy than what's going on now, spending and paying gigantic interest on the debt while still maintaining the dreaded "Trump Tax Cuts For The Rich" and spending in deficits not known during the history of human economic experience.

Confiscatory taxes, windfall profits taxes, universal flat tax on all American wage earners of 45%-- whatever it takes to balance the budget, JUST DO IT!

Those tax cuts put more money in our back accounts. I didn't realize a family of 4, married filing jointly with gross income of $125k was rich.

Who are you calling stupid?

Now I didn't major in economics, but I know that running budget deficits of such enormity invite fiscal disaster. We definitely need to continue investments through spending, and defense spending (which includes Ukraine and the Middle East), and healthcare, social programs spending, we need to SPEND. So increased taxation is here therapeutic-- even if it means windfall profits taxes and "soak the rich" tax policy.
