This can’t be a popular position for Americans who paid for their own college or who didn’t go to college

What difference does it make? They'll just delete the twitter accounts and facebook accounts of people who post in opposition to it. That way, nobody will know it's not popular.

"A quick check of twitter and facebook shows us that there is virtually no opposition to forgiving student debt."

"Biden Reads what is put in front of him." He doesn't talk about anything his mind created. If he was cut loose for a day, he'd end up at an elementary school for girls sniffing hair....or worse.

This is the President of The United States. He is a puppet who reads a teleprompter.

I imagine that won't be enough to pay for textbooks for that woman's studies degree.

It won't benefit people like me who deserve it the most. Rags to riches. frick this idea and frick liberal soak the rich mentality.

Know why I succeeded? Not because I was white, which I was and am, because because I had a MANIACAL drive to rise above. And I did. Now the government just wants to leech me because I saw to it that I wouldn't depend on it.

There are many “adults” in their late 20s to mid 30s who voted for Biden primarily for a reason like this. So, fellow comrades, enjoy paying back the tuition for Karen to get her master’s in social work.

Everyday is stranger than the last.

here, here

But I have saved my whole life to make it better for my kids. I don't want them getting bailouts either. One is in community college for a trade, another wants to be a Mech Engineer, the last on wants to be a therapist. We've had talks about degrees, careers, and gainful employment. They have to make their own choices at some point.

Majority of Americans who didn’t go to college will now be forced to pay for people who got a useless degree.

I actually like when they bring this up....it's basically free advertising to attract more blue collar folks and post-loan paid people to team red.

There are actually a lot of people in the working class who disagree with this, right and left. They are being forced to subsidize student loans for the privileged few who get to go to college.

The left and right have irreconcilable differences on how they think government should be run, but I do think we're getting closer to the point that they both realize the establishment is a common enemy. If you are on the right and are trying to convert leftists who have this position in common, your argument should be, "if you don't agree with our government now, what makes you think more government is the answer?"

Forgiving student loans is unacceptable. However, I do believe lowering the interest rates down to 1-2% would be fair. Then, the federal government needs to set restrictions on what degrees will be supported. The fed is the reason college students are paying outrageous amounts for degrees that haven’t gone up in equivalent value.

Not only did I pay for mine, but also paid for my two kids.

I don’t want to pay for other people’s kids.
