Manchin promises to investigate Biden natural gas export freeze

It's a dumb move. Biden is likely concerned about left wing enthusiasm since oil and gas production has consistently hit record highs during his administration. He tried to keep the climate people engaged by lip service without substantive policies, but the effectiveness of false statements of concern may not be working as well these days.
LNG is one of the best energy products in the world from an environmental standpoint. He should simply make the case for it being much more efficient and less polluting than liquid fuel and coal, and let it be.
