Fertilizer is the bigger concern IMO. People stocking up is making it worse. They keep trying to mess with riparian rights here in AR too. That will be a complete shitshow if they ever pass it. State wants to ship our water to NM.

That statement right there, should doom the Democrat party for at least a decade.
But, we do have an overabundance of stupidity in this country.

Thats only part of the reason there is food shortages. The real reason is intentional to use food as a weapon to usher in the great reset, injections, social credit etc... they are gonna ration and withhold from those that don’t subscribe to their program.

Yay! My food lion is already running at about 50% stock. Maybe it'll be reduced to around 30% stock. frick Joe Biden. I'm glad our establishment and all other western countries are sacrificing their own people in order to virtue signal.

Pretty much any direction you turn, the “Mean Tweets” years sure seem a whole lot better now.

This is a complete shiteshow no matter the subject. Dims have never been great at managing anything but they’ve even outdone themselves with the speed in which they completely fricked it all up.

So the Pedo in Chief put Sanctions on the US?

He said exactly that.

I mentioned before that we didn't experience the shortages out here in California that you guys did further away from the major growing regions out West. We already take extra precautions but it would be even moreso if I were down South with this announcement. He's setting the table for a very rough year at the very least.

“The President can’t do anything about high food prices.” “It’s Trump’s fault.” “This is due to climate change and if we switch to green energy will have more food.” “The American people are spoiled because they’ve gotten use to 3 meals a day.” The communists will have lots of excuses. Remember that Stalin used famines to eliminate millions of Russians.

I am in Nor Cal in the foothills. Walmart and Save-Mart are pretty bare on some items. Plus the employees costly spread out boxes of the same brand to cover empty space. I do not know how it is in the flatland though.

Richer nations like the USA will be able to pay for the higher commodity prices and deal with shortages more effectively, especially the USA where agriculture will not be affected. However, poorer countries are in big trouble, especially the middle east. The byproduct of no food in the middle east is more young men joining terrorist groups....

Also, keep in mind that equipment companies like John Deere, Cat, etc have pulled out of Russia. There goes all of Russia's spare parts for the existing equipment that they have. And the majority of that equipment is western.

Also, Russia is one of the bigger suppliers of fertilizer. So even agriculture in Europe will see much higher prices for fertilizer. Of course, we're already seeing that in the USA and around the world because of gas prices (natural gas is necessary to make fertilizer)

Here is the situation in certain countries:
Lebanon: 80% of their wheat came from Ukraine.

Egypt imports more than half of their oil from Ukraine. Moreover, Egypt is the world's biggest importer of wheat, 30% of which comes from Ukraine.

Libya get 40% of their wheat from Ukraine.

The government of north-west Syria get their region's wheat and flour supplies from Turkey, which imports 90% of their wheat from Ukraine.

Yemen imports no less than 27% of their wheat from Ukraine.

Not to mention fertilizer prices.

We’re planting I think about half of the rice we usually do due to lack of water .. even the wells are low. Salinity is getting up there.

Sigh.

I’m not super politically astute … how does a country joining/him supporting Ukraine joining NATO affect this? Not questioning that it did — just wondering how amd trying to learn. Thanks.
