Mexico didn't pay for any of the wall and it was ridiculous to believe they would, it wasn’t true, no need to get mad at me about it.

The US Mexico border is 2,000 miles wide. That would be a lot of border agents to patrol the whole wall and catch anyone climbing over.

He needs the bill signed for funding to actually do it successfully. Saying you executive order the border closed doesn't stop people from coming over if you don't have the means and people to enforce it.
