Gives him a way to say “I wanted to close the border but republicans wouldn't sign the bill because of Trump, they’re the reason it’s open.”
Serious question though why Didn't Trump do anything about the border when he was president and Republicans controlled the house and senate?
I don’t like the way Biden has handled the border but Trump was pretty incompetent and I don't think he would be able to get it done either, he didn’t when he was president.

The wall wouldn't have been erased by Biden's pen. That was the point of finishing the wall. It couldn't be EO'd away or defunded.

There would be no border crisis if the federal government simply enforced existing laws.
Any “Border Fix” is nothing more than a reward for not enforcing borders, and a vague promises that they’ll slow it down a little if we agree to overlook all the aliens they’ve intentionally let in.
