Tax you to death, fee you to death, inflation you to death and you can be poor and eat bugs. You’ll have nothing and love it.

They are going after your Equity, to distribute Equity. The only way to respond to this is the French way. Large scale protest that locks up the system. Everyone who gets a fee attached, refuse to pay your mortgage. Impossible to foreclose on the only people who actually pay their mortgages.

Hopefully a judge can put a stop to it.

Sounds like more unlawful, unconstitutional and treasonous actions by the federal government.

More chipping away at the backbone of the country/middle class.

The liberal government leveling the playing field between the productive and non productive citizens by taxing the productive and giving it away to the non productive as usual these days.

It seems every move the liberal government makes is just the opposite from what should be done.

The piss poor conservative government officials seem to be powerless with all talk and no action.

Even more absurd than this trash proposal - I've yet to see any reporting on it by WaPo, NYT and the like.

Why would the state media report negatively on the group they’re paid to protect?

If only we had a recent example in history of the consequences of giving mortgages to unqualified or underqualified borrowers.

It was only recently revealed and will be in effect May 1 I believe. From what I’ve seen, if you have a credit score of 740+ , and get a mortgage for 400k, you’ll end up paying a fee that will cause you to pay 14k more over the life of that 30 year mortgage. All for having good credit.

There's a hack where you can open one or two new credit cards shortly before you start the mortgage process. Lower average age of account + hard pulls can be used to knock yourself down to the 730s.

(Might also want to make a big ticket purchase if you can pay it off after you close on the house.)

So, are you paying your mortgage or not?

When this inevitably leads to another housing crash, this will be blamed on Trump

I don't believe any of this is harmful unless CWont, Powerfart, BigTexasDumb, Hank, SFP, and/or Boose tells me so.

The country we live in is under tyrannical rule similar to every other communist nation. What’s most disappointing to a lot of us is being sold a bill of goods that we have a fair and just civil code that protects responsible productive citizens.

Think of all the wasted time (who gives a frick about the effort) in U.S. high school civics classes.

Sitting in a room alone, staring at the wall, like David Puddy would be more productive.

I'm not even sure what is sadder that the op posted an article that has nothing to do with mortgages but since it said "credit score" he assumes it does.

Or that nobody even bothered to check the article.

This all environmental stuff. Nothing to do with mortgages.

Actual press release

quote:

The Environmental Justice Scorecard is a signature component of this commitment. It is the first-ever government-wide assessment of what the federal government is doing to advance environmental justice.

The Environmental Justice Scorecard was created at the direction of President Biden to assess the federal government's progress on advancing environmental justice, to provide transparency for the public, and to increase accountability for federal agencies.

What the environmental score is

The federal government is tracking itself
