On Cuomo's interview
He is embracing the so called moderate Democrats, and slamming AOC and her ilks for being too far to the left. He said majority of the american people are at center-left of the political spectrum. He is against single Heath care payer. He rambled a lot about others thing in the interview that didn't make much sense to me.
Cuomo pressed him on how to handle Trump, He said Trump is like a bully that needs to be punched in the mouth.
Winning strategy?
What's the democratic electoral breakdown today? 30% AOC leftists, 10% moderate, and the rest somewhere in between?

Seems weird to move to moderate after he falls in the polls and already went far left . The guy clearly will say anything to get elected.

I don't know it's a winning strategy but it's the Democrats' only shot. They have to appear to come to the center a bit if they have any chance.

I don’t know if it’s a winning strategy because primaries are base elections but it’s his only strategy. He needs to go on the offensive against the other leftists on the stage.

His campaign is a mess. He panders to the far left but he doesn't believe it. He has always been a centrist and should stick to that because it is the only shot a beating Trump. The socialist agenda isn't a winning strategy.

Biden's first problem is that he's always bent with the wind when it comes to policy.

So Biden's positions switch daily.
This is one of the bedrock differences between conservatives and liberals.
For the most part, conservative positions rarely change because they are based on inalienable rights, where as liberal positions shift constantly to reflect the contrived norm of the day.

Poor Joe doesn't know what the frick to do. At his core he is simply just a career politician who has always said or did whatever was necessary to continue to be elected...for nearly 50 years.
Now, his party has gone off the fricking rails to crazytown and he's not quite sure how to fit in. He doesn't truly believe in the batshit crazy leftist agenda. But if he tries to sound reasonable, he gets excoriated by the crazies he's competing with (see Harris). He'll hang around until the money stops flowing in. At that point he'll just say "I'm too old for this shite" and hang it up.
He's like Brooks Hatlen in Shawshank Redemption. He's "institutionalized" in DC and he's just been released into a new world he doesn't know or understand. He's scared and just wants to go home

Beto is too. He just had an interview air on CNBC where he said a 70% marginal tax rate was ridiculous. In the debate he apparently declined to say that it was too high.

Yeah I’m sure in his heart of hearts he doesn’t believe in any of this crazy shite being spewed. He’s just a lifetime player of the game in probably happens to align a bit left of center.

Should’ve just remained the “moderate” choice through it all but he had to cower down to the lunatic left. Bad miscalculation. Serves him right.
