Biden admin asks scotus to remove 2A
Just what the title says. Biden admin using New York ruling to back door getting rid of our 2A rights. Firearm licenses to be awarded based on proof of need being much more than general population; ie rich and famous vs the rest of us.

If there’s no accountability, what does it hurt to ask?

i need a video of it instead of an NRA article.

Let me see if I understand correctly. You're saying the Supreme Court will be asked to determine if part of the Constitution is constitutional?

If I've learned anything over the last decade, it's to never trust SCOTUS. It seems like every decision is a coin flip as to which way it will go.

Said it long ago, they're definitely attacking your right to defend yourself.
All to glorify the criminal as a sign of a broken system.

Good luck on that Biden. In order to repeal an amendment you have to meet a very specific set of requirements. Asking the Supreme Court to do it is not one of them.
Changing the words of an existing amendment would actually require another amendment to do so. The same goes for removing or repealing an existing amendment.
Then you would need the new amendment to be proposed by Two-Thirds of the House and the Senate, or a Convention of the States. If you get that far, you will still require three quarters of the States to ratify that amendment.
It was made to be difficult on purpose. The current admin just can't ask SCOTUS to change the wording of amendment, it is illegal to do so in that manner.

The current admin doesn't seem to let silly things like laws get in their way.

Firearm licenses to be awarded based on proof of need
Also, as long as the government has weapons, the citizens have a proveable need to own them as well.

Biden, etc and the SCOTUS can do what they want - can't have mine though

well we now know the play.
much rumor until now.
with emergency health order and now a move to deny the right to bear arms this can get ugly quick. without a doubt this is a totalitarian power play.
its frightening that the true colors of our administration is outright total control.

Unless you have F-16s and nukes, any “problems” would be solved quickly by law enforcement or the military.
And don’t be so naive to think that they wouldn’t “follow orders.”

They do that shite at a time where unarmed Australian citizens are getting their asses beat and hauled off by an authoritarian government.

The US would nuke itself? I don’t think even this administration is that stupid.

Ok.

Are they suggesting the constitution is unconstitutional?
