It's a disease. They literally cannot accept any good news if it relates to Trump.

They will complain about NGOs and then attack Trump for going after NGOs. Trump can never do anything right in their minds.

The mass psychosis of the left we saw in 2016 has spread to the right.

Well that certainly puts a dent in the planned "fall of love" riots before the midterms.

All 501’s are harmful social engineering and should be gutted from the tax code.

One of the things interesting will be to see where their money comes from......

I think we will find Soros is a pass through from our own govt to various ngos below them. Soros did not become a billionaire by just giving away money.

Imagine the impact a policy like this would have on churches...

Are you truly incapable of understanding the issues being discussed?

They aren't complicated, mind you.

I can make this even more simple for you, since you seem to be having trouble. Make this same thread about churches and not "NGOs" and you think the same people would hold the same views on the machinations of this policy? Or would we see hypocrisy?

*ETA: just so you know, there are plenty of examples of religious types melting the frick down over much lesser auditing of churches via the 501c43 angle to draw from. This isn't even a hypothetical discussion.

Churches operate under a fundamentally different legal framework than standard 501 charities, making them effectively insulated from the type of audit policy proposed Bessent.

Not sure what you are confused about. Cucking authority trying to compare Lorener (and you agreeing which isnt shocking) to what bessent is doing is very low. Hes an angry liberal male like yourself

You need to get AI to respond better.

Are churches 501c3 organizations? Yes or no

Yes, churches are 501organizations under federal law.

?However, they operate under a completely different enforcement framework than secular non-profits. Secular groups must apply to the IRS, file annual Form 990s, and face standard audits.

Churches are automatically tax-exempt without applying, don't file Form 990s, and are protected from routine IRS audits by federal law

?So while both are 501, the Treasury cannot audit or revoke a church's status using the same procedures applied to secular charities

That small regulatory scheme has no relevance to the discussion.

This discussion is about the 501c3 status itself, not the red tape to get that status.

Ask your AI if the same ban on political activism applies to churches as it does other 501c3 orgs. That's the relevant question.
