Whats so appealing about Nashville I wonder.
They are fixing to pay ungodly amounts of property tax (I think they are increasing by like 10%), crime is high and they are a top 10 most expensive city to live in.

I live here and wonder the same thing. It’s not bad but it’s not some utopia that some people make it out to be. It’s also liberal as shite- and you’re spot on about the property tax.

Only those in Davidson County have to deal with the silly property taxes. The suburbs is where you live. I'm sure Ben will be living somewhere like Brentwood, not downtown.

No state income tax helps. What’s your alternative? Move to the burbs and pay $750,000 + for a home, notable HOA fees, AND (more than likely) face a significant commute to/from work? Yeah, the proposed property tax hike, while not ideal, isn’t that bad compared to the alternative. Point being, it evens itself out.
