Yeah, you probably should rethink your proposal especially in N.Ireland. You really don't want the IRA and their Provos running around the place with guns .

I’m curious to see a reaction if the police fire rounds at these heroic citizens. Do they back down and regroup and start more of a hit and run style or does it become cop cars flipped and burned and cops homes as the next round of targets.

I’ve been thinking about the same thing, and my gut feeling is cops killing citizens would officially set the powder keg off - full civil war. But, for the record, my gut feeling was the Irish didn’t have the balls to take it as far as they’ve taken this, so I’m not exactly batting 1.000.

I’m not sure, but I think the main high point was the natives burning the houses of the invaders including a transitional facility where they are housed en masse upon arrival to the area. Some organized armed groups have posted videos while masked telling the invaders to GTFO, also. I’m sure there are many who are better versed than me.
