There was a book in which Daddy Bush shite on Cheney and Rumsfeld for being absolute reckless morons that did not have a clue what they were doing in Iraq. Can you imagine the conversations he had with his moron of a son about that?

People kept asking him why why he left Saddam alone after desert storm and 2003-07 showed why and they stopped asking that question right then.

Also, his work in handling the collapse of the soviet union and the fall of the wall in Berlin and the ensuing German reunification was absolutely masterful.

I'd say the Dems putting an obvious liar out there to make up defaming stories about a SCOTUS nominee ranks pretty close to it in the (stupidly) ballsy category.

They hitched their wagon to CPL at one point FFS.

Sure. But let's not throw the baby out with the bathwater.

41 was one of the best foreign policy Presidents we've ever had and it was a perfect continuation of 8 years of Reagan in that area.

Damn shame he mailed it in for the re-elect and Ross Perot fricked it all up and stuck us with the Clinton Crime Family.

Of the Bush family, I'll defend and support 41 every time.

I mean it was the classic 'nothing to lose' scenario. Which part of their base has abandoned the Democratic party due to that disgusting stunt? Hell, you could more reasonably argue that it has helped them in that regard.

Says a lot about where they are now, I suppose.

Hey now.

43 absolutely sucked arse and deserves all the shite he gets but 41 was absolutely one of the best foreign policy Presidents ever and I truly believe that Trump is taking quite a few tips from him in modeling his own foreign policy which is perfectly balanced between bloodlust warmongering and reckless isolationism.

We are so far from "reckless isolationism" that even suggesting its on a spectrum means you believe neo-con bullshite.

She’s awesome. Her book Trump vs the Media was outstanding, highly recommended.

I just preordered this new book on Amazon .... $19.95. Looking forward to receiving it. We should all support her anyway we can. She is a fresh voice of truth and honesty out there fighting the good fight these days.

Trump right now is a mixture of Ronald Reagan and Bush 41 tough peace through strength build up the military foreign policy with restraint when it's needed.

It's none of the naive foolishness of the Obama and Carter Presidencies that continually kneecapped and gutted our military and projected weakness on the world stage.

Bush 43 was an absolute caricature of neocon foreign policy that went way too fricking far, regarded restraint as weakness and that brought us the worst catastrophe in the history of American foreign policy that has cost us trillions of dollars and thousands of American lives.

Not very loyal either. Isn't Kav tight with the Bushes?

Likely were "looking out" for Kav. Didn't want him pulled through the ringer like he was.

What they didn't expect was the most epic testimony and questioning from Justice Kav.

I'd like to think they turned off some moderates and independents. Perhaps some naivete on my part. You're absolutely right about the base, though. I'm sure they loved the attempt to ruin a man with lies.

Daddy Bush who originated “Voodoo Economics” was a known cuck moderate.
He swore that he had learned real conservativism from Reagan with “Read My Lips”.
His lie opened the field for Perot to enter and give election to Bill “#metoo” Clinton and eventually the rise of the Hilldebeast.

W with his hands off Fannie and Freddie let the housing bulb build to bursting, and with his “history will correct the record” allowed the DNC/MSM Political Complex to control the narrative and set the perfect stage for Obama.

If for no other reason, the Magnificent Orange SOB earned a place in my heart for stomping JEB into a whimpering pile of cuck mush!

Well of course 41 left a lot to be desired on the domestic front and that's on him and him only. He earned the criticism and the ensuing election loss for that.

No excuses for that.

Still a good man and a good President.

Indeed.

I have to wonder how if he was President in Jimmy Carter's place, how he would've handled the Ayatollahs attempting to snowjob America and overthrow the Shah of Iran.

There's a reason why Reagan continually said in the years before that the Shah was our best ally and damn good bet VP Bush shared the same opinion.
