Bed Bath & Beyond CEO out as sales fall 25% in Q1

Over priced walmarks home store

I bought something from them online.

They sent me the wrong thing (and we're not talking wrong model, wrong color -- what they sent wasn't even close to what I ordered). (Think, you order a set of towels, they ship you a blender. That's how bad they were off.)

Called customer service, they said return it to the store, and they would send out the right item.

Returned it to the store.

That same item was sent -- not to the warehouse -- but BACK to my house. (I should have taken it to the warehouse myself, it's down the street)

Called customer service again, they said they would ship out the right item.

Nothing.

Called a THIRD time, that's when they said we'll send out your item -- when we get ours back.

Sent it back. (They paid shipping, not me).

Finally got my item.

Any store thats entire business model is always being 20% off everything as a starting point annoys the absolute frick out of me

We know you arent on sale a-hole

Amazon and Wayfair have massacred them.

They should be thanked for admitting they are gouging their customers at least 20%

The store sucks. Wife and I walked into one a couple weeks back because it had been a while since we were in one. They have nothing good and the couple things we even showed a little interest in where way overpriced.

Probably a victim of BCG (Boston Consulting Group) or other ridiculous high priced consulting firm, planting executives, wrecking the company with wokeness, debt and other bad decisions.... so stock shorters can "capitalize" on the destruction. Just a hunch.
