you moved the goalposts to fit your argument, which you kept claiming you were not doing

I never moved my posts. You can say it all you want. Even you agreed there are mental health issues outside of societal backlash with gays.

I'm against the celebration of disfiguring or chemically changing one's body, especially minors

but until Disney has a character change their sex, I fail to see how that is relevant to the topic at hand

The topic when I entered was about normalization of LBGT topics to our youth.

On the trans issues, it certainly is not a great thing.

That isn't what was said.

I get that it's the only real point you have, but stop trying to steer everything to it.

You have been using these same tactics over and over.

You call it forcing I call it advocating for equal rights. Why do you hate the constitution? ALL MEN ARE CREATED EQUAL.

being thrown in our face

So since you don't like it, it's "Being thrown in your face"

Go back and hide in the closet dammit that's where you belong. Am I doing it right?

how fast we went from opposing gay marriage to embracing it

Why is this a bad thing. Look at the history of this country we have been on the wrong side of quite a few things we changed our stance on

Native American genocide
Slavery
Right to vote African American
Right to vote Women
Civil rights movement.

The fact we can change is what makes this country great.

Yes, you did. Your very first reply in this thread was an implication that I didn't understand the cognitive abilities of children because of my comment on homosexuality.

You eventually "clarified" that you're limiting this all to transgender.

Correct. The thread is about a "gay moment" in a Disney movie, and the mistaken belief that there is indocintration inherent to that.

Let's stay on topic.

From the article.

In a new Attitude feature, Condon reveals that Josh Gad’s portrayal of LeFou — the goofy sidekick to Luke Evans’s macho egomaniac Gaston — will actually be a character struggling with his sexuality. As Condon says:

LeFou is somebody who on one day wants to be Gaston and on another day wants to kiss Gaston. … He’s confused about what he wants. It’s somebody who’s just realizing that he has these feelings. And Josh makes something really subtle and delicious out of it. And that’s what has its payoff at the end, which I don’t want to give away. But it is a nice, exclusively gay moment in a Disney movie.”

Clearly more than two dudes kissing.

Edit: As an adult that is fine. As a child, its a bit much especially depending on their age.

You brought it to that by asking for examples......

It's the point people are making.......

then I'll ask this question again

quote:
but is a child being aware of a non normal lifestyle dangerous or bad if that lifestyle isn't ostracized by the majority?

No mention of transgenders in there.

Not likely. Children are not likely to even pick up on it without input from their parents.

ok

well that one of the first times you moved the posts on me

because you immediately answered that with mental issues within the gay community

while I was asking you how a "normal" child is affected from being aware of a non normal lifestyle

WTF are you talking about?

Yes, all men are created equal, and endowed by their creator with certain unalienable rights, and what that has to do with how fast America has accepted a lifestyle and gay marriage is beyond me. Not even the SCOTUS used that as a reason for their ruling, instead using equal participation. Nobody has ever said that because someone's gay that they don't deserve every single right within the constitution, but seeing that marriage is NOT A RIGHT, I really don't know what in the hell you're trying to argue.

You've lost it

See above, he asked for non-normal examples. I gave him one.

You two both took it out of context.

Then learn how to use the Internet. Your reply was to my post, not his.
