The culture of appropriations is exactly what proposed St Georgians is trying to get away from. From a strategy standpoint it is a no-brainer and should have never been added in the 1st go-around. I don't necessarily think it's funny but it does make me smile.

I live in Virginia, so I have no dog in this fight. But just a heads up, from an outsider’s perspective, you are doing far more to argue against your own position than to actually defend it. For a Baton Rouge citizen on the fence reading this thread, I imagine your responses will be more likely to make them support the Saint George movement than oppose it.
