I always believed when baton rouge got an african american mayor that the crime in the black communities would go to 0. If only they had an african american leader in the past it would have prevented cops from being shot, innocent cd salesman from being shot at gas stations, etc

If that's not true, the people of Louisiana don't act like it. I think it's the French background that contributes to that political "quirk" in Louisiana.
