These age groups people got the vaccines first. Pretty much confirms the vaccines are wearing off.
You have no idea when they were fully vaccinate. Could have been last week

I’ve been to quite a few hospitals over the last 18 months and most have been ghost towns. Empty parking lots, 1 way entry, hospital speciality clinics closed, staff furloughed or laid off.
But last summer my wife's niece (a pharmacist) told us about how she was making her rounds in the hospital and had to stop to help stack the bodies in the hallway. (Lafayette area)

To keep Joe Biden away.

Looks like the vaccine isn't all that good for elderly. I haven't read others comments yet, but this is my fear for my parents. Mid 70s, dad has cancer, copd, high BP, and congestive heart failure. He won't fair well with the virus or the vaccine, but I wouldn't want to hurry him getting sick and dying from the jab
You could call America's frontline doctors in Houston, do the telemed and get them some Ivermectin. See my other post on the studies on prophylaxis. GoodRx

That was for what they had on August 3rd
BRG posted this on their Facebook page for context 4 days ago
“We've seen 633 COVID patients at BRG since July 1 and admitted 347 of them to the hospital. We've been able to send 195 home to recover, while 130 patients are currently being treated. Sadly, 22 of our patients did not make it home to their families, and we continue this fight in their honor.”

That tells me that the guy I know in ICU at BR General Mid-City is not vaccinated.

Because the government said so...now just be quiet, strip and walk into the tent so you can shower and sanitize...

And THAT, my friends, is an actual hipaa violation by a hospital.
They released info that would allow people to infer health information based off unique information.

The government just issued new travel bans on Israel, Iceland, and France due to case spikes. All of these countries are significantly outperforming the US in vaccination rates.

Tiguar -- can you answer this for me cause I don't know and am not finding a good answer.
If someone has been vaccinated and had covid (whether they were vaccinated before or after covid case) can they still donate blood for MAB?

21.6% of the deaths in Louisiana share obesity as a comorbidity. Beaten out by hypertension, diabetes and cardiac disease.
Do you have a link for that?
I searched and found this....
quote:
The Centers for Disease Control has found that in as many as 94% of COVID-19-caused deaths, individuals also had a contributing comorbidity.
from 9/24/2020 MSN
quote:
According to the CDC report that is updated weekly and outlines provisional death counts for COVID-19, it states that for 6% of deaths, 'COVID-19 was the only cause mentioned” on the death certificate. 'For deaths with conditions or causes in addition to COVID-19, on average, there were 2.6 additional conditions or causes per death,” the report continued.
quote:
National Center for Health Statistics, as saying that while 94 percent of death certificates that mention COVID-19 also listed other conditions, the underlying cause of death was COVID-19 in almost all of them.
thegazette
And we know that they admitted they don't distinguish between those that died from COVID / those that died with COVID.
And This (CDC) (see Table 3 )

Don’t see why not. Better question to ask the place taking the blood though.

He went in on the 4th, so I guess he will be in the updated report.
