Baseball’s Kennesaw Mountain Landis Next Up To Be Erased Per Political Channel ESPN

Flipping around the dial and came across the political channel espn just in time to catch a news update.
Legendary MLB commissioner I think (I don’t follow baseball).
Apparently he said some racist things about 100 years ago or something.
His name is on trophies and other things. He is next up to be erased.

I’m not aware of that one.
There is a Confederate themed store right smack in downtown Kennesaw. Been there forever, I think. It’s boarded up now for protection. Owner says he’s not going anywhere.
As Kennesaw has grown in popularity it’s profile has increased. There have been marches downtown to demand the store’s removal.

It was there in the 80's at least. It had a klan hood and robe on the upper torso of a dummy on display in front of a window.

It said some former MVPs want his name off the trophy. Mentioned Larkin, Pendelton and Schmidt. Maybe they could just give it back since they find it so offensive.
