This is rich coming from the guy that supported FISA renewal.

The emails and internal documents in the mayor’s office will clearly reflect that those folks were complicit in the establishment and operation of CHOP. They provided resources to CHOP, ignored the pleas and needs of legitimate property owners and prevented the law from being enforced. They allowed CHOP to operate within their “own laws”, which is by definition sedition.

Really? Exactly what kind of restriction are we talking about? Stay at home orders have not been enforced. If you have business license and your business was closed you may have a case to make that you civil rights have been infringed upon as badly as gay people not being able to marry the person of their choice....but the number of people with a business license that has been impacted is relatively small....and, it is understood that the issuing entity can cancel that license in the event of a health crisis. If the toilets are backing up and the floor of your bar is three feet deep in sewage because the system failed in you area you ain't going to be allowed to serve the public until that shite is cleaned up.

You and I not being able to go to a theater is not akin to slavery. Talk about melting....

Like the number of people enslaved was relatively small. Good point.

Really?

Since when is "as badly as" a measure of the taking of one's civil rights?

quote:

until that shite is cleaned up

Well, since you are typically full of it, I will defer to your extensive knowledge on this part...

When you order people to basically hide in their houses, order that businesses stop serving the public ....but you can go out for an hour of exercise and go to the grocery store. Use the power of the state to enforce all of this....use court orders to enforce a quarantine. Sounds like a form of house arrest....the only thing missing is an ankle bracelet.

Sounds like house arrest, looks like house arrest....kind of is house arrest.

Then bring up charges and prosecute! Quit huffing and puffing and take action now! I mean, isn’t Barr the Attorney General? Does he not run the DOJ?

Your TDS has made you so blind to what the lockdowns/stay at homes have done to smaller businesses. That the local governments have forced small businesses to shutter their operations while allowing large multi national corporations to sell and provide the same goods and services is such a monumental denial of constitutional rights The sad part is that people like you gaslight for the officials that most likely destroyed their business or will take years to overcome the damage, all in the name of their rage and hatred of orange man bad.

The functional house arrest duck is quacking like a motherfricker.

There's a CVS commercial running right now where the mom picking up whatever it is they need at CVS asks if they can stay a little longer, implying that they're only allowed to leave the house to pick up their Rx, and have to return home if they're not going to be at the drug store, FFS.
