He may just be wanting some attention.

Good luck finding the perfect person to vote for.
Not looking for a perfect person; just a committed Christian who seeks to honor Christ in his public and personal life.

Admittedly, it greatly reduces the number of people I'd actually be willing to vote for going forward. I'll probably be sitting out of most elections going forward and voting only on state and local matters.

I’m not even sure you could vote for the Pope under this standard so name a candidate. Huckabee? I like Huckabee but he would maybe win 4 states at his height of popularity.

To be honest I don’t see any way this is true or that it looks bad for Trump… I think Trump will get more of his supporters to go out and vote than ever.

The people who “stay home” I think are ones that hate Trump anyway but also hate Kamala. I don’t see many Republicans staying home this time. I know several who have never voted before and this is their first time.

You won’t be voting in any elections and if you continue to hold that ridiculous standard you may not be attending Church much longer. History is littered with fools like yourself

I certainly couldn't vote for the Pope

Huckabee probably. 8 years ago I would have said Mike Pence. Not sure I like his politics any longer, which further complicates matters for me.

Which book, chapter, and verse tells you to sit out elections or to sacrifice the good for the perfect?

I'm not even quite sure why anyone who would take such a stance would be engaging in ANY political discussion at this point, and I can actually somewhat understand certain committed theologians who choose to completely dis-engage from such things.

We’ll get ready to never vote for President again. I have news for you. There hasn’t been a President in over 100 years that meets your standard.

Why would I not attend church? I'm not looking for perfection but you have to admit that politics these days doesn't really favor those with Christian moral principles.

2004 was probably the only time I didn't have to hold my nose to vote. Even Trump--who I actually hope wins--doesn't have a consistent view of abortion. It's politically-motivated, not motivated by Scripture.

I get where you’re coming from, I do but it’s like La. Republicans voting for JBE over Vitter because Vitter went to a hooker. Give me someone that votes in Congress like Vitter and no hookers and I’d vote for them. Until then Im voting for the guy that votes like I would but likes hookers.

The Republicans that voted for JBE bitched the 8 years he was in office after they put him in.

People like you say this shite but never take any action to put forth such a candidate or work to start a movement of people pushing for such. You’ll just refuse to vote while the country goes down the shitter. One side has become openly evil and destructive, the other side would protect your right to express your beliefs, protect life, and pass some laws in line with your views even though you may disagree with some other laws.

Ideological purists are the worst. You’ll never get your perfect candidate

Yeah, I'm not buying that number. Maybe half or 20 million to be generous
