Im in the same boat. How would he even know what mama means? They learn that for their.... wait for it... mother's. Which this baby doesn't have.
Sad the kid doesn't have a mother but he's just babbling.

Baby is being raised by 2 males. He's what, 5-6 months old? Has not heard the word 'mother' presumably. How exactly would a babbling infant know to say 'mamama' and refer to a mother figure when that doesn't exist in his world?!?!
Do use your last remaining gray cells if possible.

How would you know that the baby never knew his mother? Were you there when he was born or being put up for adoption? He obviously did being that he’s saying mama.

If true this is evil.Not sure how we would stop the two dads thing. They would just find lesbians or allies to help them get around whatever laws we enact to stop it.

OP clearly states the little man was born to a surrogate. In those cases, as well as newborn adoption, the birth mother does not normally see nor hold the child.
