So are these bombers gonna sit at Guam for a couple weeks? And why don’t we have bombers there at all times?

There are boombers in Guam almost everyday.

It's amazing that people don't understand how the military works.

“I am willing to bet B-52's take off from some where almost everyday of the year.”

They do .. grew up next door to Barksdale … listened to them every morning… fwiw you can tell if loaded or not from sound when they take off.. parents called me before Iraq war and told me someone was getting bombed .. said loaded planes were leaving one after the other..

No idea what a loaded B2 sounds like..

We do and tankers, we have run the bomber and tanker task force out of Andersen AFB foe decades, B-52, B-1 and B-2s rotate units through same as the tanker units.

If the administration didnt desire for the whole world to know these aircraft were moving about, then no one would know.

Two flights of B-2 Spirits, callsigns MYTEE 11 flight and MYTEE 21 flight, comprising an unknown number of aircraft departed from Whiteman Air Force Base, Missouri, in the early hours of Jun. 21, 2025. Their destination has been noted as Andersen Air Force Base, located on the Pacific island of Guam, rather than the Indo-Pacific outpost of Diego Garcia

Andersen AFB has one permanent hangar designed for the B-2 Spirit, compared to the four B2SS soft-shell deployable hangars known to be extant at Diego Garcia. Notably, during the recent deployment of B-2s to Diego Garcia, for much of the time the aircraft were parked in the open rather than in the hangars.

So did I! Well, just across the river in Anderson Island in the early 60s.

Yeah, those planes are always heading somewhere at all hours of the day and night

Do you think George Bush loved this country? I do. Do I think George Bush made some incredibly stupid foreign policies? Yes.

I think Bush made bad decisions because he got bad info from the warmongers that pretended to be neutral. It was with Bush that I first realized how corrupt many of our 3 letter agencies were.

Especially the CIA. They covertly do things to cause things to happen (often against the Presidents foreign policy goals) to force the US to act in a way that they (the CIA) want. They sell drugs and arms to be able to fund these projects off the books and without congressional oversight.

I heard when fully loaded B-52s use missile engines on the wings as boosters for RATO, for rocket-assisted take-off.

I think this posturing by Trump could work with European nations, but I bet the Iranians are too macho to bow out and agree to dismantle their program.

Agree. They’re never going to agree to zero nuclear. They’re a massive country and it would be sheer humiliation to cave to Israeli/US pressure

I didn’t vote for this either
