I can't remember all the particulars of that campaign, but IIRC, she pulled a Biden and appeared once every 2 or 3 weeks just to stand behind a podium and say: "I'm Katie Hobbs."
And she somehow, some way wins the governorship of a whole freaking state.
Yes, and if you wanted to scrutinize the ballots to check chain of custody the court told you to stand down.....no standing, laches.
This ^^^ was the SOP for courts in every contested swing state precinct across the US.
Quick news nugget, Mike Davis (constitutional lawyer) who is a frequent guest on the War Room, told Steve Bannon the reason Fulton County GA told the DOJ to frick off when they requested the impounded ballots form the 2020GE is because they likely have been destroyed

Based on the information available up to October 2025, the investigation into Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs and her alleged ties to Sunshine Residential Homes is ongoing, with multiple layers of scrutiny from state and legislative bodies. Here's a breakdown of the situation:
1. **Initial Reports and Investigations**:
- In June 2024, The Arizona Republic reported that Sunshine Residential Homes, a state contractor, donated $400,000 to Gov. Hobbs and other Democrats, subsequently receiving millions in state contracts. This led to Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes launching a criminal investigation into potential pay-to-play corruption.
- The investigation focused on whether these donations influenced the awarding of state contracts, particularly in the foster care system.
2. **Legislative and Auditor General Involvement**:
- By October 2025, the Joint Legislative Audit Committee (JLAC), chaired by a Republican legislator, directed the state Auditor General to assist Maricopa County investigators. This move was part of a broader GOP-led effort to scrutinize Hobbs' administration, focusing on allegations of bribery, fraud, conspiracy, and racketeering.
- The Auditor General's office confirmed its commitment to work alongside these investigators, examining financial transactions and contracts linked to Hobbs' tenure as budget director and governor.
3. **Financial Discrepancies**:
- State records indicated that under Hobbs' oversight as budget director, $339 million in taxpayer funds remained unaccounted for, adding fuel to the allegations of mismanagement or corruption.
4. **Public and Political Response**:
- The story has been amplified by conservative media and social media users, with calls for Hobbs' resignation or further action. However, the engagement on social media platforms like X (formerly Twitter) remains relatively low, suggesting limited broader public traction.
- The video attached to the post shows an unrelated press event, not directly tied to the investigation, but it underscores the ongoing public and media scrutiny of Hobbs.
5. **Legal and Ethical Considerations**:
- The allegations, if proven, could constitute violations under Arizona's racketeering laws (RICO), which allow for severe penalties including asset forfeiture. However, as of the latest updates, no definitive legal outcomes or charges have been publicly confirmed against Hobbs herself, though the investigation continues.
Given this context, it is true that Governor Katie Hobbs is under investigation for these serious allegations, with significant legislative and state resources dedicated to the probe. However, the extent of her personal involvement and the ultimate legal consequences remain uncertain as the investigation progresses. The claims of bribery, fraud, and racketeering are part of the formal inquiry, but without a concluded legal process, the full truth of the allegations is still pending.

You might want to do a tiny bit of research.
The Arizona Legislature controls the state budget. The GOP has controlled both houses of the state legislature for the last 20+ years. In 2021 the GOP controlled legislature, and Republican Governor, passed a new tax code that gradually went into effect, with the largest reduction happening in 2023. The result was a 27% decrease in tax revenue. In 2022 they also adopted a private school voucher program that ended up costing the state $900 million, 15 times what was forecast.
It is very clear those two policies are key drivers of the deficit.

Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs has no formal, current employment or direct personal association with Sunshine Residential Homes, but the relationship between her administration and the company is the subject of ongoing criminal investigations by both the Arizona Attorney General's office and the Maricopa County Attorney's office.
The investigations are focused on a potential "pay-for-play" scheme involving significant political donations made by the for-profit group home operator to Hobbs's inauguration fund and the Arizona Democratic Party, followed by a substantial, and reportedly unique, rate increase approved by the state's Department of Child Safety (DCS) for the company.
Key details of the controversy include:
Donations: Sunshine Residential Homes and its executives made approximately $400,000 in political donations to Hobbs's inaugural fund and the Arizona Democratic Party in 2022 and 2023. The company had no history of political donations in the state prior to this time.
Rate Increase: Sunshine Residential Homes was the only group home operator to receive a special, significant rate increase from DCS during the Hobbs administration, which raised its daily rate per child from around $149 to $234 (a nearly 60% increase). This occurred after an initial request for a lower increase had been denied in December 2022.
Company Justification: The company stated it needed the rate increase to avoid a deficit and prioritize beds for a federal refugee resettlement program instead of children in state custody, which DCS said it could not risk losing.
Hobbs' Response: Governor Hobbs's office has denied any wrongdoing, stating that the administration will be cleared of all charges, and has emphasized her background as a social worker and commitment to the welfare of children.
Company History: Sunshine Residential Homes has faced past scrutiny, including a pending lawsuit related to the 2022 death of a 9-year-old boy in their custody who allegedly did not receive proper insulin administration.
The investigations are currently ongoing, and no verdict has been reached.
