Trump hasn't lead an Arizona poll since the beginning of August and another just came out that said he is down 10. I looked at the crosstabs of the most recent poll and it looks like it greatly underpolled self-described conservatives but that is a bad poll for Trump. I don't think he will actually lose in Arizona but it will be closer than 2016.

Seems exactly like what they said about Hillary in 2016. They have learned nothing.

The polls aren't great for GEOTUS.

I'd love to be able to say they are wrong again but how many times are we going to see a convergence of odd facts like 2016.

Plus the media has had almost 4 years to brainwash the public with anti Trump propaganda. They truly are the enemy of freedom.

White suburban women are the largest demographic in Arizona which is not favorable for Trump. These women let social media likes influence their politics.

I think ultimately Trump wins in the end, but its white suburban women that make me nervous. If the white suburban women I know end up being how white suburban women vote nationwide, Trump is facing an uphill battle. What's sad is that their cuck husbands can't wrangle them in. What's even worse are the cuck husbands who go along with them in ORANGE MAN BAD mentality.

Arizona is full of white suburban women especially in places like Scottsdale.

Totally agree. White suburban women are a soft spot and Democrats are trying to mine votes here. I just hope all the anti-police stuff by the Democrats turn off suburban women. They should feel unsafe under a Biden administration. Defunding the police in cities across America under an encouraging Biden administration will tank suburban public safety.

What's interesting about the Arizona polls is that the ones showing him only down a couple, CBS and Gravis, both also show that he has greater support among those certain to vote and that the Biden lead pretty much comes from those who didn't vote in 2016. The enthusiasm is definitely on Trump's side and his voters will stand in long lines to vote if necessary. Those who didn't vote in 2016 or less enthused won't. Biden can't count on those votes, hence the strong push for mail-in and for his voters to vote before the debates. Arizona doesn't send out mail-in ballots until October 7th so he doesn't get that benefit there.

For the suburban women I know I think its all about protecting their kids. They think Trump is a meanie poo because their favorite talk show hosts and celebrities said so, so by voting against Trump they are "protecting" their kids by removing him from office and therefore he can no longer have any dominion or influence over their kids. That's the dynamic I see. It's the same reason a lot of these suburban women are ultra sheltered and protective of their kids over COVID even though COVID imposes little to no risk to them.

This is the case in Every. Single. Poll. I have seen where the crosstabs show who those polled voted for in 2016. Trump never loses any of his support from 2016 - he either stays the same or increases it.

I've seen polls where Trump won 41-36 among those who voted in 2016 in PA, winning 43-38 among those who voted in 2016 in MN, winning 44-40 among those who voted in 2016 in WI. Yet, in all those polls he is down by 5 or more. Because somehow Biden wins 100% of the "didn't vote in 2016" vote. I get that there are kids who turned 18 since 2016 and will probably not be heavy Trump voters, but 100% of the didn't vote in 2016 vote? Really? For there to be massive swings from 2016 Trump +5 to 2020 Biden +10 in PA or MN for example there has to be some bleeding of Trump support to Biden for that to be mathematically possible.

I can't argue with any of this. I agree. I just hope these soccer moms are too busy and/or unenthusiastic to get out to the polls the first Tuesday in November.

In their defense, liberals do not know where Arizona or Phoenix are on a map. They think Phoenix is in Nevada or somewhere else, maybe Mexico.

In my opinion its how democrats won in 2018 and democrats are trying to run the same playbook again in 2020. Yes there was ballot harvesting in some districts/senate races but this was the dynamic in play. I live in Texas's 32nd district which is pretty much soccer mom central and a democrat easily beat a longtime GOP congressman in this district.

These moms have been brainwashed by social media and the mainstream media to believe Trump is an evil evil dictator and they don't want their kids growing up under an evil meanie poo president.

This is why I think the debates are so important - not to draw more voters to Trump, I think those voting Trump are not going to be swayed by anything and are locked in. It's to get the soft Biden support peeled off and stay home or vote 3rd party. At this point it should be about preventing as many people from voting Biden as possible, and less about getting as many people to vote Trump as possible

I think they will be too scared of covid to go vote. Which is a good thing.

I admit that when Trump had the poor turnout at his Tulsa rally in June, I thought we were finished. Because I thought the poor turnout was because people were too afraid to show up due to COVID and that meant that the COVID fearmongerers were winning. I was terrifled that even those who are Trump backers and conservative were buying into the COVID fear.
