250k over three years does not seem that excessive if she is in fact managing the non profit.

I doubt anyone read the link, but it says from 2013 to 2015. And if that is the only suspected bloat, they could still be amazingly efficient.

Now, I do have an issue with the wife of a congressman having such an easy way to move money from a non profit to their pocket, I dont see the amount...on its face....as being extraordinary.

She’s being individually compensated from the charity to the tune of $152k per year on about $1.5M total receipts to the charity.

She is then charging the charity an additional management fee to her LLC. That’s averaging $80kish per year.

In addition, she is cost sharing the expenses of the charity with the LLC. Her LLC has very little other revenue based on public information available.

Additionally, there are pretty hefty sums for travel and events and subscriptions to the charity. It accounts for another $150k or so of expenses.

In short, without even looking at the donor list (which would probably cause all of us to roll our eyes), it looks like a big pile of shite.

Dude, it looks like fraud to me but I'm willing to let the investigation run its course.
