Question for everyone claiming that President Trump "down played" this thing in the beginning. Does that now mean that because he has "changed his stance" on COV-19, does this mean that you are acknowledging that he listens to experts and them makes decisions?

He clearly ignored the experts early on, or at least pretended it was no big deal in public. Maybe the cases and deaths piling up caused him to change direction.

The big picture: Because of early missteps by the Trump administration, the virus has already spread widely throughout the United States, undetected, and the number of cases in most major U.S. cities has skyrocketed.

While i am not sitting in the room for the meetings, I am 100% sure that scientists, and their opinions are a part of this decision making process. Those are the experts i refer to.
I will NEVER refer to a politician as an expert.

It was obvious Trump did what he did up front to help the economy and lessen panic. Was it the right thing?
He could do nothing right in the eyes of the left and media. They jumped all over his arse over shutting people and flights coming from China down.

On January 31st, effective February 2nd, after most of the major airlines already cancelled flights. Did nothing about Europe until too late and even then left the UK open for most of a week.
