With 38% reporting, Paul Howard (DA prosecuting Rolfe in the Wendy's shooting) is getting smoked by Fani Willis (endorsed by police orgs and moderate democrats) 73% to 27%.

He's getting trounced in almost every precinct thus far...

Let’s hope this holds up. Don’t want to see any trunkfuls of ballots showing up.

Something I just noticed on the results link. Fulton County sheriff primary for the Dems showed the incumbent losing.

Probably a great thing considering what has been said about Fulton County law enforcement in the Atlanta riot threads.

Yeah Labat looks like he'll win. He was also endorsed by most of the pro-police Dems.

Fani's margin over Howard is holding steady (almost exactly the same) with 61% in.

Only thing the Sheriff’s office does in Atlanta is stand around the courthouse and process warrants

81% of blacks want either the same amount of police service they had been getting, or more. (Recent survey.)

My understanding is that the reason for that is that Fulton County Sheriff Dept was so dirty they weren’t allowed to do anything more than that.
